Alright, so here's the deal. For the past 3 months, I have been preparing for my 1st grow (unless you count the outdoor one I did 12 years ago which yielded a male that we kids tried to smoke anyway), and I have it all together. I have read exhaustively, bought a light, fabricated a ventilation system, bought all the little knick-knacks, and even filled some pots with soil. The only problem is, I am waiting on seeds. Dr. Chronic sent me a shipping confirmation last Tuesday, and I have been waiting as patiently as I possibly can. The first 7 days were ok, but the last 3 have felt like ages. To add insult to injury, I had to read some posts right after I ordered about some other cats receiving Dr. C orders in 3 days. Now, all I ask of you is a little eASSURANCE, or better yet, since I am a Mac user, some iENCOURAGEMENT. A little "Your grow will be the best!", or "They'll be there before you know it!", or "That Great White Shark is going to tickle you with its radiant white trichome-teeth!" would do me a great deal of service. As it stands right now, if I see an empty-handed mailman tomorrow-- I'm gonna beat the shit out of that guy.
Thanks in advance,
S-Town

i am in a part of the country where it would come quicker than other parts.. i got mine in about 6 days.. if by 12 days you didnt receive anything, then you may want to contact them.. did you mail a money order or pay via credit card? even if customs intercepts the order, you will still get your package.. (without the seeds)

I am not the least bit worried about not receiving my order at this point. Paranoia isn't really the issue. I am just finding myself unable to rid my pants of these pesky ants. Maybe I need to give myself a good soak in neem oil.

i too ordered from the doc and went through the same thing. i'll tell you the same thing i told someone else when they asked me how long it took to get my seeds: they will come right as you are about to give up on them getting there.

Hydro is not even a consideration for me. I can't spare the vertical real estate. My options are either soil, or hydro in a gravity free zone where the position of the reservior is not an issue. Unfortunately, my anti-gravity room has been converted to a space-porn film set.

But thanks for the assurance, guys. I was never worried about getting the seeds. I have just felt like a kid on Christmas Eve every day, and it turns out Santa decided to walk his route this year (probably for the best though, that pudgy fuck is probably running cookie dough through his veins by now). And I wasn't paranoid until you mentioned my neighbor's small dogs. How could you know about them??!?!?? I better go flush everything I own down the toilet now.

P.S. There were not, nor will there ever be, any postal employees harmed in the making of this grow.

...Shit. That awsome. OOoooo, (breathing with laughter) sorry, "cough" ok, ,,, I'm allright.

Don't worry dude, when they finally come, you'll Have everything ready to go, and it will that much more fun! Hey, when you're waiting, read up on growing, there is always something new to learn out there.

Ah... I finally get it. Apparently, there was a particularly rowdy Postal strike in the UK last week. They have said that it could take "several weeks" to sort the "tens of millions" of unsorted letters. So I think I pretty much got caught in the midst of some foreign politics. Maybe this will mean a particularly inconspicuous passage through customs.

The Doc is a good dude! I've read your post and can't tell if you are a Brit or not. If you are in the US it usually takes 5-7 days.( Doc says longer) I know that if you order on a Wednesday night in the US most times you will get your order on Tuesday.

Ah man almost wet my pants 'cos of that one
Anyway, customs got your seeds and you got an agent behind your door as you're reading this.

FLUSH THAT TOILET!

Just a little update. My seeds finally came today, on day 36 from post. The package looked like it had been to hell and back, and probably has been. The post date said 25 Sept, so Dr Chronic did send them immediately. i just wanted to wash away any tarnish that may have been placed on the Doc because of my long wait. I think I just got caught in the midst of labor disputes. I'm germing two feminized Great White Shark (Greenhouse Seed Co.) as we speak. I'll post pics in a new grow journal (I already have one for a little "experimental" plant I have at week 3) as soon as they're babies.

Thank you for commiserating,
S-Town

If you think waiting for the seeds to arrive is difficult, wait until they start growing and you can't stop looking at them. Grow...now...faster....:bigjoint:
