Big thanks to all who updated us such that we think 12/2 - 12/5 applicants' cards came yesterday. next hoping to hear from 12/6-12/8 applicants yet this week!

Hopefully you will hear something soon. I was told at the dispensary that part of the hold up on mine was issues that arose with the Dr.

thanks tanker, it sounds like youre in the best position to let us know when the 12/6 cards arrive...my hope and expectation is youll get it this week. I think you only get advance word of approval if you seek it via email or phone after the approval has occurred, unless perhaps youve had a different experience you can share.

I sent my application electronically at an all in one clinic innovative espress care paid with credit card and included a fee so no check to clear the email receipt dated dec 18th that the state received my applications so now it's a waiting game

I mailed my application on 12/13/17 and my check to IDPH was cashed this morning. I can only hope that means the card will be here soon!
How are people getting updates via email? Every time I have emailed dph.medicalcannabis AT illinois.gov I get an automated response.
"Thank you for contacting the Illinois Department of Public Health Medical Cannabis Program. Your email has been received and we will process your request as soon as possible.
Due to a high volume of processing, we CANNOT respond to inquiries about your application status. We will process all applications based on the date received. If additional documents are needed to review your application, you will receive a letter from the program asking for more information along with information on how to submit the documents.
Thank you for your patience. Sincerely, Division of Medical Cannabis"

I'm 12/12, my check was out last Saturday... no other communication so far.

i think thats the response anyone gets until the application is approved, after which it appears some people have been able to get confirmations indicating theyve been approved and their card sent off to printers. I'm hoping to get such a response to the email i sent them today.

I did send another email to the same address earlier and no automated response as of yet. It should have arrived by now. Knowing they cashed my check, it would be nice to get that email soon stating my card is on the way to the printers

i can relate for sure. for what its worth, you say you mailed your application in on 12/13. i mailed mine in on 12/7 and my idph reply.emails indicated the actually received same on 12/14. your emails may give you a receipt date similarly...if not and we assume that your application was received a week after mailing like mine and take others' updates here into account, i would expect you to still have a week or so to go before they approve your app and send it off for mailing.I did send another email to the same address earlier and no automated response as of yet.
