Anyone have any experience with Advance Spectrum?

They're sold on Amazon and a couple of other sites. They're a bit cheaper but still seem really good, but you can never really trust the specs. Or the reviews.

hey guys first time led grower here. looking to set something up. wanna build lights for a shed I have. in Michigan with my mmmh card. looking to do 12 plants. would 12 cree 3590 3500k work? prob cd bin. wanna use hlg-185h-c700b driver. correct me if I'm wrong. I wanna use b driver so I can put a dimmer on it. instead of manual dim it on the driver. also I know that 1 driver can run 8 cob. and if I have just 4 cob on the 2nd driver, would that effect anything? my budget is around 1200ish including heatsink, connectors, etc. thanks for the help guys

happy Friday and smoke on

Are you going to run active or passive cooling? I'd suggest getting the same size so when you want to add the other 4 you'll already have the space on the sink for them. PM me for pricing. I'll hook you up.

I know you mean well, but maybe we shouldn't turn this thread into advertisers aggressively hawking their goods in response to questions.

There are many, many people on this site selling cobs, heatsinks, completed lights, etc, and if every one of them responded to questions about what to buy with "you should buy what I'm selling, PM me for pricing" this whole place would be ruined.

Offer good prices, unique products, and excellent customer service, and I'm sure you'll have no problems helping many people make their DIY dreams come true.

Hi guys! I've been doing a lot of research (Still way more to do).

I want to build a CXB3590 Cree COB setup for a small single plant closet. I currently have a single Mars300 setup. Growing mostly Indica, but Sativa in the future for sure. I do plan to SCROG

  1. Will 2 COB's be enough?
  2. Should I opt for 3500k? Or should I have 2 different spectrums?
  3. Most efficient driver for these?
  4. What do I run these COB's at % wise? 100%, 80%?
  5. Are lenses needed?

I'm looking for something simple and as efficient as possible I guess. Are these COB's the best to use currently for their price?

You sir think I'm getting rich helping people make their own lights? I still see people giving advice saying to buy mars. I'm the one that put Kingbrite on the map here. I didn't make any money then and I'm not getting rich now. I'm just making it to where people can make their own lights. I haven't even released my prices yet.

Why are you putting words in my mouth? I didn't say you were trying to get rich. I said you meant well, but please don't advertise your services in response to questions.

You recommended Kingbrite, that's great. Let other people recommend you.

You can get the HLG-120-C700B and run 6 per driver instead. It would save a couple bucks, and maximize effiency, but nothing is wrong with 4 on a driver. If you are running 120V it's a fraction of a percent difference.

All I have to say is wow really? I didn't know that saying hit me up is forcing a sale down someone's throat lol. I do have the lowest price right now on 3590s 3500k CD bin. $52 you get cob,cob holder, reflector and reflector holder. I haven't decided on the price of the kits yet I'm still waiting on the heat sinks. Btw where's your diy thread?

Now what happens when @Greengenes707 pops in and says NO I HAVE THE LOWEST PRICE, PM ME FOR SPECIAL DEAL, followed by @Stephenj37826, and @welight, and every other motherfucker with something to sell.

I am being polite, but that's called spam.
