who said that?

go back and read the thread. the thread asked a question: if tax cuts for the "job creators" creates jobs, where are they?

you are pathetically trying to reframe the position. as pathetic as ron's "revolution".

No I am trying to have a legitimate economic debate, where if A then B arguments do not work.

I'm trying to avoid empty arguments like this. Please explain how higher taxes create more jobs.
You trying to make a argument...

Lets just answer the question the OP asked If tax cuts create jobs what happened to all the jobs that should have been when Bush did all his tax cuts for the so called job creators ???? Nothing was create but a bunch of money hoarders, so I say we go back to the Clinton years when we had jobs and everyone still was making money

If a man makes Min.wage and is taxed @ 33% would it not be patriotic for all to pay the same?

Shouldn't He be getting the benefits directionally proportional to the % of his tax bill?

It's not a matter if fair or not.

Seems fair to me.

so the bureaucrat who prints your grandma's SS check or verifies your nana's eligibility for medicare doesn't produce anything?

seems to me like they produce a check or produce a verification.

A check is not a product, it does not increase GDP directly.

If you can argue an economic theory that supports tax increases being good for a productive society that would be great.
it's called the laffer curve and the great compression. ya know, documented history and all that shit, none of this rawn pawl utopia nonsense using austrian economics with no track record of success.

Agreed, lets go back to the Clinton years where we paid off our debt and weren't secretly taxing people through borrowing.

Please enlighten me on how the laffer curve argues that higher taxes are better than lower taxes.

Hint: it doesn't

How has the reasoning, or the justification for taxes changed? Taxes are for war, wealth redistribution, and car/horse elevators for politicians
I'm not talking reasoning or justification or abstract taxation philosophy. I'm talking tax base, the economic vibrancy of a young nation. Our current economy is very different, with a different and much less assured economic base. You invoked the founders. I'm responding that the material conditions faced by the founders don't apply, so I am reiterating my point: invoking the founders becomes a blind alley. Jmo. cn

Medical insurance if left alone and not forced to be "health care", serves a very specific need, and it could be quite affordable in that capacity. But, that wonderful government intrusion forces them to stop being an insurance provider and transforms them into something completely different.
do tell me how every wealthy nation that protects all their citizens and pays less does things. i bet they leave government the fuck out, right?

boom, empirical evidence ownage.

Arguing for no war and at the same time arguing to give more of your money to the government that funds war is a blind alley.

Correct me if Im wrong, but that curve shows how efficient taxes can be, it does not argue that taxes themselves are efficient. It just shows the most efficient tax rates. How are taxes efficient for getting people consumables that they need more so than freedom?
freedom freedom liberty rawn pawl constitution freedom rawn liberty pawl freedom.

i have won the debate.
