What's up RIU... Well I need a fan that's good enough to drop my temps in my tent at least 10 degrees. I was thinking about putting a tower fan inside the closet to see if that will help...keeping fingers crossed... I haven't bought 1 yet bcuz i'm waiting on some good reviews. A Lil info about my closet... Its NOT close to a window or a AC vent I already thought about that. The room is about 15ft L , 5 ft W... And I have a 5ft 5 in tall by 3 ft wide with a 400 watt hps... My temps are at 82f to 85f during the day and 79f to 80f at night...please help i'm looking for denser buds and I would like to grow some purple strains...
Thanks in advance

Is your closet up staris or in the basment? I run a 250 cfm 6 inch inline duct boost fan with a 225 intake boost fan, the less cfm intake is for nagative pressue on the room which keeps the smell in. I exhaust into the attic and this has given me reduced temps. the biggest gain in temp control was adding a air cool hood, cool tube which brought my tems down 5 degree celcius, im in the same boat as you right now and spend large to get temps in line. just using fan inside won't do what you want. If you plan to vent out your room you should also think about a carbon filter for smell. Im running a 1000 watts in 3X3X8 room and im in around the 28-32 range( so Like 84-92 ) and the 1000 watter is hot!

hope that give you some ideas
Peace, M

Actually those temps dont sound too bad.
It sounds bad if i'm trying to grow some purple strains right? I heard my temps need to be in the 70 degree range for purple strain? And then I wouldn't have to worry about heat issues either
