Newbie Grow Plan Need help with nutes

Hello Everyone,

This is gonna be my first grow overall and using Mephisto Double Grape Autos. I am a little confused around the nutes. Here is my planned setup.

Gonna be growing around 65-80F the whole time so temps aren't scary (especially because the lights will give heat and should stay <70 here during the grow), and the humidity is 60-80% so I will get a dehumidifier later on if needed (I wanna see how my setup settles before buying).

I think i have the setup down I just have some questions about nutes. From what I have heard I got a 50/50 mix of Fox farms Ocean Forest and Happy Frog. But I am pretty lost when it comes to what nutes to add during flowering. also planning on using plastic cups early and put in 3 gallon mesh pots. Any advice about nutes for this setup or any obvious oversights with my setup would be incredibly appreciated. You guys are awesome.


Hardware:
4x2x5 Tent (5 ft is pretty hard restriction unfortunately but think topping plus LST may make this still possible?)
(2) ViparSpectra xs1500 pros
4" AC Inf Fan kit w controller

Nutes:
50/50 Fox Farms HF and OF mix
Biobizz Fish Mix during flowering.

hi, your going to get a ton of differant answers unless you narrow it down a bit. like organic, synthetic?
personaly, first time new grow setup, keep it simple, biobiz 3 pack or fox farms is another.
use at 1/2 strength and happy harvesting
id you go the organic root, look into dry amendments, you add them directly to the soil at the start of the grow, then blend them up, and use them as top dressing

Do you think that with the fox farms soil I should only start adding that during flowering or should I just consistently go with that every 3 weeks?

I don't use ffof but I hear it has enuff nutes for the first month.. I usually topdress 3 times in a grow..
Once in veg with HG, then 3 weeks later at flip 50/50 mix with FG , 3 weeks later FG..

Thank you for the information this seems like the move for sure. And this might be a dumb question but the 1 tbls/ gallon is for mixing into the soil before right? then you just top dress as you grow.

Here’s what I do
Top dressing organics
1tsp is about one medium spoon from your kitchen. Keep it in your grow room. You can also buy cooking measuring spoons from the grocery store

1tsp/per gallon dolomite lime every 3mo (keeps ph at 7 so you can water with plain tap water) at 2 weeks
1tsp/pg nitrogen based ferts (worm castings, guano at 12 0 0 etc)

after the first 2 weeks from seed
5 grams myco+ one time in veg (it may stink up your plant saucers)

after you see little flowers between the bracts, and it’s fine to have some n in your soil for the first 2 weeks of bloom

you can do
1tsp/pg high phos nutes (0-12-0 or 3-12-0) per 3 weeks (bone meal, guano, fish bone meal)
And try to supplement with micronutrients like organic kelp, azomite,1tsp/pg)

and teas, I don’t use teas but you can feed until harvest and buds great

potassium isn’t that important but if you want to try an apparent bud sweeterand sweller you can try blackstrap molasses but i tried that once and got ants

Thank you for the help HydoDan and everyone I think that the plan is gonna be keep it simple with the dr earth every couple weeks on the hydodan special and just see how my plants seem.

I started out with general hydroponics flora trio. So so results. Tried another brand...then another, etc... Never got so good at dosing. Usually seemed to over or under feed...but always got across the finish line. Then I started dr earth (per stealth grows channel) mixed results so far but still learning. Then found the "how weed grow at home" channel and this fellow has put together a schedule for flora trio + Cal-Mag so WTH I tried it. 2 plants now in week 4 of flower and absolutely crushing it. Never have I gotten results like this. No deficiencies no burning. Just straight up happy plants. Others in veg on same schedule with same results. I recommend checking it out. It's based on happy frog only and advise to follow instructions on testing and prepping soil to ensure acceptable ph (I've gotten more than one bag of Happy Frog with horribly low ph). Believe me it ain't pretty trying to grow in potting mix with whacked ph. Haven't used his method yet for soil ph. Another method I have used with success is adding 2-3 tbsp of dolomite lime per gallon of soil and let it bake a couple weeks before using to bring the ph up. I think everyone would rave about the flora series if GH would just double the price and slap some cool artwork on the labels. Sorry didn't intend on getting so windy.
