I need a stealthy place to grow! help please

I grow in coco under (2)400w hps, using a SOG method. I recently moved in with my in-laws while my wife and I finish school. They use to grow but don't me to do it in the house.

Jyst wondering what ideas you guys would have of where I could grow my wife and I our meds.

Any advice would be appreciated!

buy a cheap camper. run an extension cord out to it. done. and you can camp in it when you aren't growing.

I don't know why that didn't cross my mind.

they have a barn on the property they said I could use. But I prefer only my wife and in-laws know and we have family get togethers a lot and the barn is used as storage and it would be discovered quickly.

I thought of building a stealth cab... Not it would be very obvious.

I see. Build a greenhouse

Put a couple armoires or pantry cabinets in the barn with locks on them.
Paint them to look all beat up and rustic.

I totally failed to mention the barn has no power...

A green house is a good option, you'll have to take some extra steps to secure it. If you're growing for just personal use, you don't need a large space. I've seen some PC tower grows that were very impressive, however they do require a knack for creativity and ingenuity to be effective. A step up would be to buy a tall two door cabinet that you think would be relatively easy to light-proof and seal. Honestly though, you shouldn't grow inside if the people generous enough to house you don't approve. You'll be living there temporarily, there's always the rest of your life (hopefully) to do things properly. There's no harm in trying to convince them to allow you to have a small grow tent in your room or something though. best of luck

give us an idea of how many plants you need to flower at the same time. i still say camper. or an old uhaul truck. hell, put a solar array on top and you wont' need to plug it in.

What I was doing a few months back was keeping 2 mothers and then flowering 6-10 clones all together.

im still looking into this guys. i was thinking of renting a storage place but find that to be a bit sketchy...i could just keep buying my meds but i truly love to grow and miss the art and love put into it..

How big r u looking to go?

Here's a couple of ideas
Dog house grows
trash can grows
toolshed (lockable) I like this idea the most because you can run electric out to it and no one would ask questions on why or why it's locked
Repurpose an old large refrigerator (also lockable)
false walls in garage basement she'd etc



I know someone who has the front part and back wheels of an old but large junker suv on their property that is completely stripped and the back for cargo and passengers is gone. He put a tent in that area, and ran an electric cord out to it under the grass, threw tarp over it. Water was done through drip system so he barely ever needed to go in. You wouldn't know there was a grow there until u were close enough to hear the fan which was encased in an mdf wood box with sound deadener... so you needed to be right up next to it. Really ingenious but my point is you can really go a lot of ways with this.

I like all of those ideas.

I guess the route we are going for now is an old dresser refurbished to be a stealth box. If interested. I can post pics... might as well.

I like the dresser idea but I would go a step further and put a ten gallon fish tank on top of it. It would make a good excuse for noise (cheap air pump) and you would have a good source for water that you can keep ph'd and oxygenated right there.

Well god damn! That is an idea... I'm going to really look into this now.

Do a major op in the barn. Use a generator or two if you dont want to run lines. Make your 4/5 month grows worth the while so you can shut down for a while. A 500-800w cob setup+diesel generator would set you up very nicely.

I wish. But everyone is in and out of that barn...
