first time clone from health mother

rooted in 300ppm veg nutes (no medium )....... just in solution ph 5.9 40w blue cfl 87%rh and there 6" with equal length root:)

transplant to bubble bucket with 600ppm veg 100w cfl ( just untill they get bigger) 60% rh ph 5.9 17c res water 25c air temp ........... and the new growth is coming out yellow and small/thin ????

this is my second try !! ........ my tap water is ph7 (which i lower with ph down and check daily ) and only 58ppm (which iv used many times so its not 58ppm chlorine)

the only thing i can think of is the water temp from my cloner is 3c warmer than my bucket res ...... if its the shock why would they go yellow and small?

any help would help thanks :)

ps.............old indian tandori chicken spice bend recipe for the solution :)

sorry no pics ....... its as above :)

iv used the water lots of times
So have I, I always seemed to have what looked like a bunch of different problems, and ruined my last crop 3/4 through flower. Switched to RO, it's made a huge (not perfect) difference, saw a definate improvement in about 10 days. Right now I'm getting RO from the grocery store costs about $10/wk, expensive but worth it as far as I'm concerned, so I'm saving for a home system.

Either way, good luck.

Sounds to me like your running to high nutrients , the new growth comming out yellow & thin sounds like the plants are being fed too high a ppm .

The plants were doing fine at 300 ppm right ? A doubling of nutes comming directly out of clone is a pretty intense fertilizing regiment .

I run my freshly net potted clones at 400 ppm & once they display healthy growth up the ppm 100 ppm a week , the difference in water temp isnt causing anything , my mother/clone room is 72 degrees & i take clones from the 72 degrees directly into 60 degree rez water with zero yellowing or growth issues .

Its either too much food or you dont have enough water hitting the root mass , thats why i use rapid rooter sponge plugs for clones , i can see right off if the new plant is getting enough water from glancing at the clone cube .
Unless your water smells.of rotten eggs or has a ppm of like 400 out the tap ro systems are not the answer .

At too high a ppm your getting early nute lock out i'd suspect , the new growth is being robbed of all N & cant form a healthy leaf .

I'd bet you'll start seeing fat green leaves on the lower ppm .
