huge trees! but if theyre growing past the lights dont you think it would be more efficient and have a better yield if you scrogged them ladies

The vents in that room is just a hole in the wall with some duct connected to it which sucks in fresh air when the carbon filters are on. It is light proof.
Ive never used co2 so im not sure about that. You should be able to grow a good sized plant in that space. You could possibly get upto a pound if grown to its full potential.

Ive never mesured how far I keep the lights but in veg I just use the hand het test. I hold my hand over the top of the plant and if its too warm I raise the light until im happy. During flower the are right upto the roof as high as they can go. I will answer the watering question below.
The amount of watering increases as they grow. Because I use big 15gal pots they require more water. During veg they get fed once or twice a day depending on how dry they are. That can range from 1-4 litres each feed. During flower they get fed 2-3 times a day and anywhere from 3-5 litres each feeding.
They actually overshot the anticipated height and we were a bit late in stunting them. Also I hate screens but this room had sort of a screen with strings running from one side of the room to the other.

hmmm nice thread. i am actually toying now with doing 5 plants under 2 600 watt lights or maybe 4 400 watt lights with T8 side lighting. im thinking of vegging til about 3 feet then going to flower. Got a few questions as I dont do soil as Im not a fan but think i might for these just as a side project but may go individual flood tubs eventualy. I think i will use 30 gallon pots mix of happy frog light warrior perlite and a few other goodies. I want to setup an auto wateriong setup for this. Did you drips and if so how long and how often did you need to water to give me a comparison point.Also did you veg under the 600 watters or use smaller or less light to get going? Last question is how big did you let them get before you did your lollipop or prune on these

amazing plants, crazy harvest weight, how cured was the harvest? time wise im speaking... or is it 14 lbs straight off the plant?

Running 4 x 600s cost me about $600 for 3 months so this set up was more expensive to run than that.
It was all hand watered so no drips were used. Light was increased as the plants grew and trimming was done during veg at various stages. The earlier the trimming the better it is for the overall growth of the plant.
That was dry weight.

oh my lord. and your quick on this thread =p another question... if you already have the screen hanging why not use it to your advantage to scrog the plants and just checkout the difference between that and regular? But im assuming you've done it before and just dont find the effort worth it?

And didnt mean to double post but i already edited my last post..... would craftsman generators be feasible for power generation? if so how many 600's would you guess could you power, because i saw an add for generators and they looked pretty cheap and they claim to be very quiet

What exactly do you mean by scrog the plants?
Here is a pic of the last grow which you can see the strings im talking about. Its used to help support the weight of the branches and help spread them out.
Im not sure if they would save much because petrol is expensive these days but I dont know how much they would use when powering lights.
I think Gypsybush uses a generator (I could be wrong) so he would know more about the costs of running one.

By SCrOG I simply meant to train the plants under a screen so they get maximum light like a horizontal grow versus a verticle grow if that makes sense to you... then do what you already do, trim lower branches and whatnot, then all of the energy from the plant is focused on growing buds straight up which i think you could honestly get like... an extra few pounds. if you got into scrog and liked it you could try BoG which stands for box of green which is the same as scrog but insteaed of only using one screen there are screens on all sides of the box except the top and you train all over the box and the nugs grow through the screen towards the light. its for a smaller grow... Scrog would kickass for you. just my humble opinion, not like you need any help haha your kickin ass and takin names. but you could be kickin more ass

I've got six Jack herer myself and u give me hope. There only about two feet and already in flower one week right now. I also have six flo as well and there three feet tall and bushy as hell. The Jack herer will fully mature in 65-70 days from what I've read. I'm using a digital lumateck 1000 watt hps and a six foot light rail my cealing is only 8ft tall and with the light rail and the size of the light I could only veg for 30 days I'm praying for atleast 3 lb What do you think ?
