The worst is the fact I get pissed every time I look in the mirror and see the scars. It hit me like a baseball bat. It gave me a severe concussion.

Its all good though as you said I can still eat, drink, time, and lick. Lol.
that's the spirit

The wife and I did some yard work and worked in the garden Saturday morning . We later went into town for a little shopping and picked up some bird feed and then had a nice late lunch. We then made our way back to our little corner of heaven and opened a bottle of wine smoked a bowl and sat on the back deck and watched the birds for a while and listened to the wind chimes. About 7:00 I fired up the grill and cooked 2 nice NY strips grilled some veggies and opened another bottle of wine . We had a great meal and after the meal we went back to the deck and polished the rest of the wine off and another bowl while enjoying each others company.
We then retired to the bedroom and made sweet love. Quite a great day . Sunday I prepared omlets for us and fixed the wife coffee and when it was ready got the wife up and we had a very nice breakfast we read the newspaper drank our coffee and talked . It rained most of the day Sunday which meant nap time it was a lazy slow relaxing day and then our 3 year old granddaughter came to the house and livened up the joint . The son and I went out to the barn and fired up the grill and cooked some burgers and we all had a big time ......all in all it was a great weekend !

This is by far the best saw I've ever used. I've got 2 other 18" ones but they don't even compare.
i've still got my dad's stihl chainsaw hat's older than i am. still fires right up on the first or second pull.

my weedwhacker is a different story.

in case anyone is wondering, my weeekend sucked pretty hard but you don't need to hear about it.

Oh my - what a lovely Monday it has been!

I met with the head of volunteers for an assisted living appt. building. I am going to start at the end of this week, and there are 3 different elderly people, with various stages of dementia, that I will be a "friendly visitor" with.

Oh my - I literally got sweaty eyes when she was describing them.

One of them is a man who lost his wife in December. She died of cancer and the long-term care facility is right across the street from the appts. He used to walk there everyday at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He has no short term memory, and often wants to go for walks because he has to get to "mother". That's what he called his wife. Then someone has to tell him that she has passed away.

I am so happy that he is one of my 3. I may go home and cry every night that I see him. But I feel like I can really help his quality of life.

I'm so fucking happy I'm finally doing this.

lol what kind of witchcraft is THAT!? I dont think that would work too well;)
Well it might be a little savage....

I know a flower arranger and she uses one. Not to lollypop weed, for thorn removal. Obviously.

I think with practice it could revolutionise lollypopping. Or destroy entire crops.
