How would I get replacement seeds for germination issues?

Anyways, I have 10 Ace of Spades and 15 space candy that I about to pop! lets see how this goes... I was going to hold on to my Ace, but who knows how old it is already?
If there are no batch #'s on the seed packs, should I be worried?

You ordered these back in April? I think the defective card might be a little too late to try and pull off to be honest.

It's a shitty situation you are in, no doubt. Even going back to April, a breeder should stand behind their gear.

Knowing what a dick Subcool is, I don't think your going to have any luck unfortunately.

I am starting to lose hope... I half way expect an e-mail in like 2 weeks from now!!!

I feel for you bro. I had a problem once with a batch of DNA seeds where I had a 50% germ failure, all the same process. I contacted Jodi at Attitude, she wrote she would contact DNA, and 2 months later a replacement of 5 LA Confidential seeds showed up at my door ($100 worth of seed). Point being, shit happens, and Attitude and DNA understand that, so if you ask nice, the company's will probably throw you the bone. Anyways, don't' bother soaking seeds, it's a old wife's tale that means shit. Simply MOISTEN the GERMINATION MIX (not soil), and that dampness is all the seed needs. Along with the mat, and a canopy, 99% germ is there. Good luck

And no its not an old wives tale, it works on the same principle as moistened soil as if it were in the ground or the paper towel method. Do what ever one feels comfortable with

Hoe have you stored them since you got them? It shouldnt really matter but depending on that they can just write you off... I know it sucks but you might have to take your lumps on this one. All I can say is if you have any othee strains you want to germ do then at the same time in the same conditions so if they all dont pop you know its on your end but if only one strain has problems then you know its more likely breeder fault. Good luck, but doubt you will here back from them in regards to this.

Subcool is not in this for the money. He is in this out of the goodness of his heart..... helping out his loyal customers, and donating everything to charity, so I would be shocked if he didn't replace these seeds for you without even batting an eyelash.

My point is this.
Step 1 - get a seed
Step 2 - get some rockwool/germination mix/paper towels/panty liners/water glass
Step 3 - place seed in any off the above mentioned mediums, at the SAME time with equal temp, they should all sprout at the same time.
Step 4 - Transplant any seed that wasn't in soil or rockwool to it's new home, and watch it go into shock
Step 5 - People that germed their seed in Jiffy Starters or Grodan plugs, or peat pots that NEVER stress the roots of the seedlings, watch the other guy's transplants from paper towels or glasses of water go into shock..
Point - ONCE ANY MOISTURE contacts seed, it is on it's way to germination, it does not need soaking
Experience - left some seed in my pant's pocket and they were washed and hung to dry. Came back in 3 day's, and a sprout was out of my pocket, heading to the sky. Truth (lol)

It is a challenge just being able to contact him or customer support, if one exists. I really dont know how to get a hold of anybody .. I was trying to hold off on talking to attitude because I should have another order coming in today and I wanted to see if it had green tape...

I may be a novice, but everything in my garden is from seed... I have over-simplified my germination tech and I really have not had trouble germinating for a couple of years now... Its cool. I am just getting frustrated about the whole thing!

Ya know when I first started watching the weed nerd I thought it was a prtty cool show and sub and his methods are legit as hell. That was when he was still a mod here, they he went on his tyrade and all of the "weed nerds" jumped to his defence.
While I like his genetics and soil recipe have given me some great smoke I just was not willing to go to bat for him after he abused his mod powers by editing the dude he was arguing with posts... whats worse was the childish language he edited into those posts.
So while I will continue to support his breeding, use his soil mix, and hope to meet the man himself some day at a ht cup I will never blindily support his points of view like some "weed nerds". That being said I do think he tries to be a good person and gives back to the community, maybe not as much as others but he does nonetheless. The joy he expressed over gypsys arrest was none to cool as well, idc what history you have not right to wish a bust on someone
Eta: also have stopped the weed nerd since like 190n every new one has some new product they are trying for free. Thats cool and all but how about you test it in your garden the praise it not the other way around..

That's just not true. Soaking a seed in a shot glass for 24 hrs does nothing to shock it. You could make an argument that handling the seed with the tap root exposed after the soak may lead to a whoopsy.... but it doesn't shock the seed/root.

I'm not disagreeing with your method, I know how germination works. I'm surprised the beans lived through a wash.

I'm simply saying the shot glass method works. I get well over 90% on attempts and handling a seedling isn't hard.

i don`t know why the sarcasm reminded me of subs early days. showing his big 4 plant flower room, telling tails of how great a breeder he was and the minions just eating it up. oh the good ol` days. sub is about the best marketer in the business, and that`s where i`ll leave that.

Exactly my thoughts. I have no issue with his genetics at all. I think there are some real gems to be found, and his preferences for smell/taste line up real well with mine. I don't begrudge the man for making a good living doing what he does either. My rub is more with the pack of rabbid weed nerds that jump to his defense if anything negative is spoken about him, and as you pointed out above~ his immature departure from RIU on top of the touch down dance he did over Gypsy getting popped. Bad form IMO.

I've never been able to take anyone with a mullet seriously. Bet his trailer is nice though.

Exactly my point, which is why even think about tap root damage when you can effectively start a seed in a stress free environment that the roots never stop growing in, and will not be affected by a transplant from paper towel, into what?

here is a link for those unsure as to why soaking seeds may actually help the seeds spout. would also help the argument for scuffing them as well.
