How would I get replacement seeds for germination issues?

I usually do not have a problem with seeds, but this time I am! I am not going to say that it is the seed company's fault because it was probably my fault.. The only thing that I can really think of is the cold weather.
Here is how I germinate seeds: FoxFarm light warrior seed starter and I mix it in a container with water before I use it. I have had problems with the seeds sinking to the bottom and the soil not getting wet. Pre-mixing prevents that! Next, I do not soak the seeds but I put them directly into the soil... I also used a seedling heating mat w/thermostat and put them into a clear plastic tote that has a lid. The reason for that is to keep them warm...
I almost wanted to keep the breeder out of this, but every company is different and handles things differently... I ordered from Attitude seed bank and I have a few TGA seed packs, and I am having trouble with 1 1/2 packs... Does anyone know if I would contact TGA or Attitude? I know that Attitude does not want to talk about germination... I do not live in a state that has a dispensary either! I have not had problems with TGA before and I think that I may have messed it up myself somehow... Any ideas on what to do?

I contacted TGA in a e-mail. I will see how this turns out! I really feel bad about this whole thing and it gives me a sick feeling thinking about it!

o_O I would make sure to use a lot of exclamation marks to let them know how serious you are. Next time go with something tried and true like Barneys Farm or Green House Seed Co. Anything found by the strain hunters are pure platinum. I mean it has to be, they won tons of awards.

I am almost offended that you think of me that way!!!

I am starting to think that it had to be old seeds or something. I am not that much of a newb! The strains that I ordered are rarely sold out, so maybe I got some old stock!

I was just jokin pal, thought you were someone else for a second. Wrong person jokes on me, but yeah it is very well possible that the stock was old. If it works for you on other beans it should work for you on those ones too. Nothing different imo.

Had an issue with Ace, sent them an e-mail. They basically said it was old stock and offered me anything else in their catalog.

Original order of 5 (7 actual beans), was replaced with a 10 pack replacement. Shipped immediately, I let them know I received them. Life is grand, they didn't have to send replacements, they didn't have to give me any choice, and they didn't have to hook me up. They were very professional, and quick about the whole thing. I wish all experiences were that simple in the event one has to deal with any manufacturer.

ETA: the original order was through a big seedbank. Wasn't going to bother with them, just sent a quick e-mail via Ace's website. If a breeder isn't on a website with a posted address, find out what boards they might be on

nothing you can do, it happens quite a bit,, its not the fault of the place you get ur seeds but the fault is in the breeders charging us large sums of money for seeds that who knows how old they are..i get pissed when it comes to seed companies its outragious to pay 20-30 bucks for 1 feminized seed and no guarenties on germination and the place u buy ur seeds from cant fix the mistakes of the seed companies..i love the place i get my seeds from but have had problems with original packs missing seeds and some not germinating..luckily the place i order from has always replaced the problems and sometimes at a loss because its not their fault if we get old seeds or a packet that is missing seeds.. i germinate seeds in a cup of water or in a paper towel with great success however in some cases at no fault of our owne the seeds just dont pop..i had 1 seed in a paper towel for 2 weeks and just when i was ready to throw it away it popped,,,2 weeks to pop,,,unheard of !!! i think something should be done to force seed companies to either lower their prices or give us 2 for every 1 we order or at the very least guarenty germination!!!! i ordered a feminized seed from dj short and paid 28 bucks for 1 seed and it never popped and dj short was unwilling to rectify or replace the bunk seed,,i might as well have flushed the money down the toilet...im sorry i rant when it comes to seed companies and their prices,,as ive spent thousands of dollars on seeds,,so i guess all we can do is complain because we want their genetics so they can set the prices and care less on wether or not we are satisfied customers...only the place that sell us the seeds gets my respect as they are the ones forced to deal with unhappy costumers and its not even their fault!!!!!!

When dealing with a seed bank it's best to say your seeds were damaged or crushed when they won't discuss germination rates. Hope this helps.

I have low hopes in that TGA would directly remedy your problem.

That awesome man. Did they directly send you the beans or did they give you a voucher for a bank?

Sent directly to me, the way it should be. They are located in Spain, so it may have something to do with their openness. Just a plain padded envelope with the beans in the tube and some pretty cool reading material. I think it got to me in 5 days or a week, something stupid quick. This was all sorted out in two days. If something is a letter, often times it can move faster through ports.

No fake name or adress either. Just looked like any normal piece of mail.

TGA might not, the only reason I say that is because Sub said in one of the latest weednerds that he doesn't ship testers and that they are 100% legitimate California seed company. Based on precedence he just set I think your SOL and that is really fucked up.

doesnt anyone agree with my peviouse statement??
Nope. In the weird legal climate we are all in, everyone involved is simply trying to protect their ass.

I agree it's a breeders fault, but that's about all of your statement I can get behind.

Good breeders will do the right thing. Others are simply happy getting paid.

Also work on your formatting. No one wants to read a wall of text that appears to be a run on sentence.

I said that I contacted TGA... What I meant was that I sent them an e-mail.. That is far from contact!!! I sent them another one tonight, it was more descriptive!

Try contacting both breeder and Retailer using terms like " my novelty came with a defect. Can you assist me in getting one without Defect and keep me coming back for more cool treasures" I find that often the staff is told to straight ignore any talk about getting seeds wet. Try this method. Might help you out. Best case both breeder and retailer step up, if not. . . well you are in the same spot you are now :0)

I looked at my order date from when I ordered these. It was last April from the 420 promo... I wonder if that would cause an issue with "they were defective"? I have not tried to contact Attitude yet. Should I give it a shot? I have nothing to lose right!
