can anyone recommend some products off thebigshop.com to give me an idea what im looking at i dont wanna go too big or too
small if ya get me whats just right for my 1 plant that is cost effective.

i hear people talking about the right strain do you not recommend big bang auto's is it not a good strain for my level and purpose ??
If you're going for yield from one plant only, it will be easier to get more from a photoperiod plant than an auto.

yea everyone is saying that lol whats the diff with auto's an regulars beside the veg/flowering bigger yields ? longer grow time ?
The auto will start to flower when it is ready/ mature.
A regular, you can veg for as long as you want, and build your foliage to provide you more bud sites.

Like most things in life, you get what you put into it. If CFL is your level of input your level of output will be equal. Don't get your hopes up.

I think I've been pretty lucky with autos myself, the auto ak47's from Lowlife were ok, and the super critical autos from greenhouse were ok. But that's just it, they are simply ok. The strength isn't the same, you need a strong auto to match a weak regular plant. The look, feel and taste just isn't the same. I have also had two friends who tried them, having successfully grown regular strains previously, and they experienced shocking results - pitiful yields and the most bland weed ever.

With regular strains, after 2 years experience growing, I was able to produce weed the equal of the best I have ever seen/smoked (certainly a ton better than all the commercial stuff I have seen in the last 8 years). I decided to run some autos indoors once more however, as I had some seeds left over from the outdoor grow I had started - and even with my developed skills could not make them anywhere near the regulars. When I also realised I was using an extra 6 hours a day of electric, for this inferior bud, I decided to not cheat myself any more.

It's not as if regular strains are not actually auto flowering anyway - all you need is a dark room. They do the flowering themselves.

Ignore^^^^^^^^^ View attachment 2559408cfl's will do just fine...that's a fact jack!
Looks like one of those helium balloons they sell in big bunches in shopping streets/malls. Like a caricature cartoon bud that will float away if you let it go. ;-)

Sorry dude, only joking with ya. That is pretty damned impressive for CFL grown - how much wattage? Which spectrum/'s? Also what strain is it as a matter of interest? :-)

Haha man that is HILARIOUS. Pat yourself on the back.

Grow that same strain under HID and then come back here and update this thread, see if you still feel the same way.

I used the book Secrets of the West Coast Masters by Drew West. Pound from one plant. Set me on the right path. Highly recommended for serious growers with small plant limits. I dont follow it to a T but the info contained is priceless.
