How to get through to our politicians?

I've been writing letters to the assholes behind HB 1789 asking if they really are trying to make it harder for people like me to afford cannabis, and explain the effects their regulations would have on RSO, hashes and concentrates and things they don't even have a clue exist, and beg them to just leave it alone. Sigh....

I had brain surgery earlier this week and it just pisses me off they don't give you a cannabis option to opiates.

Thanks man, I figure I have a leg to stand on when advocating for medical herb with a big zipper (23 staples) across my head along with the bills and pills to go with it. I should keep it shaved hehe

But I use as much cannabis as I can get and I'm still a productive member of society.

What do you mean as much as you can get?

I know what he means, about 50-60 cones a day. You smoke in the morning till you go to bed at night if you wake up in the middle of night you smoke again. It should be available to people that need it , governments are backward in going forward. You will have to grow your own if you want to be constantly in smoke. That's some nice neat work on your head, must have been good was he a plastic surgeon ?.

I mean RSO, hash, and edibles require more than I can grow/afford, or as much as I can get. I grew a pound and was out before the next crop was even ready to flower, and only 1/3 of what I grew was really good. So now I'm at dispensaries and I bought $50 worth of RSO this week, 2 grams of hash($40) and $60 for 2 sticks of butter. They did give me a lot more RSO for the price though seeing the zipper.

Then for 90 instant release oxycodone it was like $9.

Did you speak with your neurosurgeon about using Cannabis? Make sure you tell him. They are usually fairly cool about it. If he gives you any negative ask him SPECIFICALLY in your case how this could possibly harm you. Copy what he says. Also try to get OFF the oxycodone, move to straight Morphine Sulphate immediate release. Get them in the 15's (smallest dose) and get a LOT. Then just take them as you need to take the edge off. The long actings are hell. Get off it now while you can.

Also though not reported there is a lot of dizziness associated with the longer release medications. That will be denied by the medical community and blamed on your surgery. But that's another reason you need to get off any continuous release stuff.

They won't want to give you MSIR. Just keep begging and beggng. It's the easiest to get off of, really. But of course it's only pennies for pill so they keep trying to push the big time expensive *codone's that are great for addicting people but terrible for actual pain relief (my anecdotal experience).

Also to the folks in WA down here in CA you would drown in the free Cannabis or at least the people I know would react that way. Why isn't anyone helping you in WA? I don't get it didn't you guys just legalize? Am I misunderstanding something? I'm not from WA so I have zero business here. But I just had to ask.

In some areas you will find the medical community doing great things... Here in Longview we had a great thing going for the med scene but Cops had to shut em down.... Here in Longview we have some of the worst Heroine and meth problems, yet when I was in the a Sheriff's office nothing but anti weed , and anti grow posters ALL over the walls. But not a single one for the Real problems here in Cowlitz

Folks really need to understand the fundamentals of politics and economics that spells why what seems ought be doable relatively easily, isn't in practice. Cheap or free weed sounds good to some, but not to those who produce it. The flood in Cali has driven away many growers. Sure, this too prevents a saturation of growers in one area. But realize what's good/desirable for the consumer isn't for the producer who's concerned with paying their bills to get by. Oh, how it could be argued over those who have bought into over-hyped, over-priced lifestyles like they're actually entitled to such in the face of rampant poverty and a collapsing infrastructure across the board.
