How to delineate growing experience from the typicall 2 yr "master"

IF ALL GOES ACCORDING TO PLAN:
Dispensaries are on the rise and soon dispensary agents will be interviewing.
How are the non-profit operators supposed to delineate experience from the fluff?
As the forums suggest everyone is a master so what is the real criteria?

I would assert a trial and error period for the would be gardeners, but this will take away valuable time form the operation aka more time away from recouping invested funds.
Samples are always good but anyone can get a sample and claim it to be self-grown...

It is going to get interesting in AZ

Pictures can't lie. That is pretty much my resume. Along with all of my top strains. Some cured and some uncured just to see if people can tell the difference. It is going to get very interesting and honestly I see a lot of the first dispensaries failing. I can't wait for them to open though. Can't wait to show everyone how a dispensary should be properly run as well as having the best, most affordable meds.

HAHAHA, well said, I better start posting more, LOL
Poor operations, spending money on novice growers only to find out it was a total waste of money.
Some of the owners have no idea about quality anyway so maybe the liars and cheaters will do well until their product is compared with competitors.

Once they get FIRED, now they can never work in the AZ dispensary scene again because they have sullied their name on their own accord, Nice....

Who gives a fuck if dispensaries are interviewing for their dispensing agents positions. Any real grower will not rely on a dispensary to allow him or her to grow. If you can grow dank then grow it and there will always be someone who wants it. Also if you are serious about being a dispensary agent then you should have made contacts and networked with the right people months ago and have shit all lined up to hit the road in one fashion or another.

There are quite a few dick bags that have already "sullied" their name and they are still operating. A few of hem are probably going to
Open a dispensary or two. You have to pull an Alan Sobol to really be shunned, and I would not be surprised is that royal asshole ends up involved with a dispensary one way or another.

What do you mean, Alan Sobol is the self-proclaimed, "Godfather of Weed"
-Sarcasm: for those who did not detect-

Self-proclamation is a popular thing in Arizona...

It's going to be tricky for dispensary directors. The cream-of-the-crop growers aren't easy to find, because the best growers are usually the quietest. They became the best by listening, not talking.

Regardless what happens dude. I guarantee a lot of the new dispensaries will be getting meds from Cali it may not be legal but they will. 6 hour drive is a piece of cake.

Yep,
Followed by multiple six hour court cases and a waste of a good investment...
Not to mention the hatred from every other dispensary business owner who is attempting to operate 100% in compliance.

The individuals who do the out of state importing will not last, Cali gives AZ last years harvest anyway, FAIL...
AMMA would get shut down as well if enough people got caught. In the rules the state regulates fairly tough about incoming product.
Paper trails galore........ Of course people falsify documents but that will not stop federal prosecution.

Its gonna be one big f**k fest for a long time to come, as the economy fails more... Sit back, grab some popcorn and watch the events unfold. Its already been an interesting year and a half.

You think every dispensary will get their hands on Cali's last years harvest???? FAIL..... Everything is awarded to the highest bidder if you are a business man you know that. I understand your argument but you really think everyone will play by the rules? I'm not that naive. It's gonna be a "get rich scheme" for the first couple of years until the solid good dispensaries get their feet cemented in AZ. Very few dispensaries will be in it for the long haul..

What you just said contradicts itself: Get rich quick scheme, first couple of years... followed by others getting their feet cemented....
Our politicians openly disapprove of the medical marijuana program. When they get one whiff of corruption not involving them getting paid, its over. There will be no "years" as you have put it.
The powers at be are just waiting for the Madoff's to come out of the wood work, believe me, look at MT....

DEA does has a headquarters in Flagstaff, just saying...

Legit businessmen play by the rules and make the same amount of profit if not more due to longevity.. Fly by nights are exactly that and they will disrupt the AZ industry for everyone. What businessmen are you talking about? Risking their hard earned money to play drug dealer by importing product.... Not the circle of business people I would associate with. It would be more lucrative for those you speak of to continue to sell on the black market and avoid taxes, risk would be the same except it would not be documented like a dispensary.
Im talking real business operators who can take the risk and wait for legal product.. Not glorified drug dealers shipping weight around the US. Have you looked at NJ lately, the big 6 are still around solely because they are financially sound not because they are selling illicit product (They cannot sell anything yet, some NJ business plans indicate a $15mil backing, public knowledge). Who is to say AZ wont pull the same bs and not award operation certificates? The ones who plan on getting rich quick will not last if they cannot sell something.. I can only imagine the microscope the winners of the registration certificates will be under as well, any sign of illegal activity and that cetificate will get stripped and possibly passed around until it reaches a LEGIT applicant.

Another Perfect Example: The 25 mile rule and AZCS/ Bill Hayes. How can you try and fight the 25 mile rule when you have been caught with over 900 plants? The 25 mile rule is never going anywhere because of these individuals; the ones were supposed to be fighting the rule violated it thoroughly in the first place. Same will apply for dispensaries, esp with only >126 in the state. One serious screw-up will only make it harder for the program to survive.

As you have put it there will be multiple screw ups and the the illustrious Janice Brewer, if you have not noticed, will crack down on the AZ initiative.

You know there will be a shit load of dispensary owners in it for the " get rich quick" and there will be a small handful of owners in it for the long haul. It's basic business and retarded to think there wont be a lot of people trying to get rich quick. Legitimate business's break rules here and there all the time. You think I'm making this shit up? You have first hand knowledge that the MMJ scene here in AZ wont have people breaking the rules? Using Bill Hayes by your example is contradicting yourself too. Just look at all the loop holes the compassion clubs are operating on, illustrious Jan Brewer seems to be cracking down on that too.

Good I hope all these dispensary fucks fuck it up for themselves. In the end there will always be patients who need medicine. For all I care all dispensaries can crash and burn. I like the club model much better. Everyone is clamoring about how they are horrible and illegal but I still see many operating with no problems.

And on another note. I agree with you about bill Hayes being caught with 900 plants and how it does not look good, but I don't know what you are talking about when you say he violated the 25 mile rule. That's impossible because there are no dispensaries and you need a dispensary to bring the 25 mile rule into effect.

Thats the thing dude.. The state doesnt have the resources to focus on the MMJ scene, sure you will have a couple dispensaries get caught red handed and closed every year but they will still be up. Just look at AZ GO Green and AZCS still operating.. Well AZ GO Green changed it's name to " Top shelf Meds" .. Anyways I'm not that heavily involved with MMJ scene outside of knowing some growers and growing for my own personal use, I just cant imagine not having some shady dispensaries opening up all over the valley, greed will suck a lot of people in.
