I just use a gram of wax or full melt bubble. I take whatever I am making and weigh it and the scale it in tenths. Example: I have 90gm of infused cookie batter. I weigh 10 9gm cookies. Each contains 100mg of hash.

I used to use flower or high quality trim but didn't like the inconsistency and taste. I love and like to make hash so that is what I started using. I guess now I could probably use greenery, since I know my yields avg 10-15% when making hash, but that 5% +/- is too much of a variable for me.

yeah i read up on it, and just got finished decarbing my leaf a minute ago. Made the house smell like lemons. 225F for around 25-30min.
Now to the crockpot on low for the night. Making cannabutter is so hit and miss for me. First batch I made kicked your ass, but I've yet to make any as potent. some are ok.. Just wish I could get more consistent results. I dropped a couple ounces of nice frosty trim in 3/4LBs of butter. Hopefully with the decarb it will be nice in some oatmeal.
That's how mine goes. I left mine in the crockpot on lowovernight and I woke up to it boiling. Might be why it makes me so tired

Yeah I wish I could get more consistent results with my Edibles because I really like them when they're strong so to speak. But I don't like to make a batch and you can't even hardly tell you ate them until you smoke a joint behind it. They are very hit-or-miss for me. The first time I made them they were great! and I've never been able to make them as good since. But it came from an outdoor crop that's the only difference. Maybe there's a difference in Sugar Leaf from outdoor to indoor but I doubt it my sugar leaves are coated with trichomes.
 
Seems like you are getting great results with you 5minute infusion-- why do so many people infuse in a crockpot overnight then? I'm guilty of decarbing then doing a few hours in the crockpot. It was a great medicinal high but not a good "get fuckdd up" high. Can anyone shed some light with specifics on how time and temperature affect product when infusing herb?

Has anyone tried to make cannabutter using cannabutter? Take an already made batch and use it to make a second batch?This should increase dosage or would it negatively effect the original cannabutter negatively making the end result the same?
