I took a NG Grape God Male and crossed it with a Sweet Seeds Green Poison Fem. This is the first time ive grown Green Poison and im very impressed. I pulled just shy of 3 ounces off her so im so pumped to run these seeds and see what I come up with.

I don't know much at all!! That's why I wanna run these seeds to see what I come up with. I got 2 males out of a pack of 5 and used the one that flowered the quickest and had the most smell. If I get a cross that has both traits then I will be happy. if I don't then that will be ok to. Im sure it will be some fire either way!
What do you know about the male?

What are his traits?

Well Best of luck. I hope they work well. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding one wants slower displaying males. Just started making F2s myself and slower flowing is a trait I look for.

what is the benefit of a slower flowering male? I fig it would be the opposite? Im not trying to be a professional brreder or anything like that, just personal use. Tired of spending shit load of $ on seeds. Thanks for you reply!

I've heard that slower flowering males will enhance yield (longer calyx production period) or have other beneficial effects. Personally, in male selection I like to look at the structure of the plant first, and then just collect the pollen and test the beans. As long as you won't be majorly kicking yourself in the ass if you end up growing one or two not that great (read: hash) plants, well, why not go for it? Free beans is free beans, right?
