I'm relatively new to growing and need some proper advice.
got some seeds from out the bottom of a 20 bag from my mate and thought i'd have a go at growin them - do they look ok? i germinated 10 seeds and this is what i've got now they are about 3 weeks old...

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

please put them each in their own containers. i thought i would save space so i doubled up, sad to say i lost a few plants because when i needed to separate them the roots were too tangled and they all broke and it was just not good.

agreed, get em in there own pots before its too late! they are looking great but you want em in there own pots now before the roots become intangled too much

They look really nice but would look nicer if they had their own little houses! Also get rid of the tinfoil thats bad stuff for growing, it makes alot of hotspots and can burn your plant.

nice one - they were actually in smaller pots until yesterday - cant get to the garden centre till next week to get more pots!! also does pot size depend on plant and bud size?

didnt know that - what would you reccomend instead of foil? also i'm growin em in a converted reptile vivarium so i've got complete control of heat and moisture etc. how big should they get and will i need to alter heat and stuff as they get bigger?

I started off a decade ago throwing a bunch of plants in the same container and it turned out to be kind of a pain in the butt. You'll likely get no additional yield trying to do this.

Beyond that your seedlings look very healthy.

get the emergency blankets in the outdoor section at walmart
there like a dollar and are a cheap mylar alternative

get sum perlite in the soil too

get some mylar or some flat white paint, I prefer humidity around 40-48% and I aim for 77.1 for my temp. You could use some red dixie cups from the walmart for now to get them into different pots. Butter containers, white ice cream buckets etc will all do fine as well. Today has it on the money too with the 3 gallon pots, getum at any floral shop for like a buck.

i been wonderin about that - i got about 6 feet of headroom in my grow area but only about 2 feet of floor space. how big do you think i should let them get given the floor space? and also when they first started sprouting i had the lights on 24 hours a day - i recently switched to about 18 hours on and 6 off - is this ok for how big they are? also the seedlings have quite long stalks and have started getting blown about a bit by the fan - is it ok to bury the stalks a little when i repot them and if so how close to the leaves can i bury them? sorry for all the questions i just dont want to fuck up and kill em!!!

yea its fine to bury the stems, you can go almost all the way to the leaves. you could trim them down to keep them skinny but imo thats not the best decision. You should find some area with 4x6 at least if you want larger plants. turn the fan down to a point where just the leaves flutter, thats where its at. Also don't go overkill on the lights when they are small. I stick with some small wattage cfls until 3rd set of leaves then I give them the juice.
