The oil i have is really potent, i just want to know how to make it more of a wax consistency. The way I get the oil onto my bowls is by heating it up so it drips onto my weed. It would be a lot easier if it were a more waxy consistency and I would rather be able to take off a little ball and throw it on my bowl, instead of having to melt it on. If anyone has any techniques or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated

Just stirr it with a tooth pick or something while heating it up on low or on a chocolate fondue ;O))

^^^Bingo it's going to go through decarboxylation with the added air and gentle heat. That's what gives you the wax.

Decarboxylation is a chemical reaction which releases carbon dioxide (CO2). Usually, decarboxylation refers to a reaction of carboxylic acids, removing a carbon atom from a carbon chain. The reverse process, which is the first chemical step in photosynthesis, is called carbonation, the addition of CO2 to a compound. Enzymes that catalyze decarboxylations are called decarboxylases or, more formally, carboxy-lyases.

Haha ok so what should I heat it up in, because every time I heat it up with a lighter or something it turns into a liquid and drips (thats how I get it on my bowls). What would I heat it up in to make it turn into wax, and and what temperature?

lol double boiler it that is the only way to get tru wax (slow gentle heat) o ya very very hard to over heat this way. thats all good lock YES I KNOW OLD POST
