How do I hang this type of reflector?

I bought a cfl reflector online.

It came with a set of hooks and 2 plastic devices attached to an adjustable string.

However I can't figure out how the supplied hooks / plastic device is supposed to attach to the reflector as the top of it is completely flat.

See attached pictures.

Am I missing some parts or just being a dumbass (most likely!)

Any ideas?

see those 2 things that look like bellybuttons @ either end @ the top..? lol the U's with the holes in the middle
Looks to me like you have to pry those up with a flathead screwdriver & attach the yoyo strings to them..

Mind tellin me where you got such a critter Im lookin for one that'll fit over a 200W CFL

ive got the same i jus hooked the yoyo strings under and did a reli tight knot lol didnt use the hooks on the yoyos

they ship those with the tabs down just like how it came of the sheet metal stamping press . its so they dont get fucked during shipping.the tabs are located on top of the hood on both sides as you can see in the first pic. just do what the other said and pry them up. needlenose pliers work great by the way.

D'oh seems so ovbious now!

I bought it a few months ago on ebay...

Lol now I can't figure out how the "yoyo" strings work. I assume the strings are supposed to tie to the reflector. And the yoyo part it supposed to attach to the hook.

Loosening the screw allows the string to extend. But tightening it does nothing to prevent it retracting! Am I missing something else obvious?
