HOUSE INSPECTION!!!

I don't understand why you would risk having a plant in the house during the inspection. That's your chance to dump that plant, get rid of all smells and really make the land lord think there's not a chance in hell of a grow.

If its for section 8 housing pull them or relocate. My sister was an inspector a few years ago and always found grows and had to report it or she could lose her job. Good luck dude!

just had a guy in with my housemate to look at mould in their room and checked the whole house, neither of them know about the grow and found nothing in my room PHEW!!!! haha still not risking leaving it on for the actual inspection though!!!

So you don't live alone and your housemates don't know or approve of the grow.........definitely scrap it for inspection, it's completely selfish IMO.

take it outdoors or wait till you have your own place

cover that plant with the trash bag and unplug everything,, lock the door on your wardrobe,, and you will be fine,, if and i mean IF they ask to see inside,, tell them you cant find the key,, ,,

and when your ready,, ,, to me one of the biggest elements to being "stealth" is your attitude, have your "story" always ready,, if needed,, ,, you have to be cool man,, your presence , your attitude, the way you act,, its all part of the game,, and the more YOU believe everything is fine,, plus your preperation,, you will be fine,,

Brew up some coffee when he comes over and as long as he has no reason to go inside your closet it should be fine. Coffee masks smell like none other. Get a huge tub container, put it in a bag and put that bag in there, he won't touch your stuff man. He will NOT go through your shit. As long as it doesn't smell dank he probably won't know what the smell is. Or just put it in a container and MOVE IT to your car for the inspection. Sure that's a pain in the ass but that way everything is 100% ok. Good luck!

its in a waterfarm i cant exactly take it outside and i have nowhere to hide it outside, my housemates smoke with me regularly and the woudlnt mind if i was growing either however im not going to tell anyone about the grow even people i trust just in case they blab when theyre drunk or whatever, yea probably a bit selfish but its a fun hobby i love growing plants, the idea of a plant in a closed room is awesome bit like having fish alive in your sitting room ha

Not selfish, smart. Just seal it up and don't stress. Have a fresh pot of coffee in your room and incense burning during the inspection. Seriously, if its an inspection it won't even be the landlord, he won't want in to your wardrobe. putting a bag on the outside of it will raise an eyebrow but it won't matter and he won't be able to report it in the inspection. If you bagged the plant and stuff INSIDE the wardrobe that's your best bet. like i said, fresh coffee and incense and you'll be fine. don't trip!!

Maybe I'm a bit harsh and yes never talk/show/sell your grow if you want personal stealth runs.........But like you said your NOT in a MJ friendly location and IF you get popped your housemates are on the street with you(maybe even lawyer fees depending on the local laws) having no involvement======sucks, your in a hard situation. Like I stated from the first page don't risk it.

So everyone in this thread knows the inspector personally I guess, his/her sense of smell and how thorough he/she will be? that's quite an assumption............whatever,it's not my ass

just my opinion

I rent, inspections have never been an issue. Maybe I'm lucky buy it's usually a week or more notice. Plants go in the car or under(attic access might work too) the house depending on size. I always bag them with the big contractor bags.

I had a close call last year. I was renting this huge house and the owner was trying to sell it and had set up multiple showings at the same time. He normally only did one showing at a time so we didn't expect multiple entries.

When he showed up with the first potential buyer we greeted them at the door and told them to roam around come in and out as they needed to. About 30 minutes later the owner acted like they were done and walked out the housE.

I started setting up my tent and plugging everything back in when I hear the owners voice in my room.( My grow was setup in my walking closet). I yelled that I was changing and I needed a few minutes. I stashed all my stuff back where it was and walked out of the closet.

I live in a rec. State but my rental agreement has a no marijuana a clause. Looking to buy my own place asap!

Alot of good ideas. Since you have the time, I would definitely do a dry run to see if what you plan on doing is going to work. Good luck man. :joint:

1. Get a van via rental or borrow one from a friend.
2. Put plant and equipment inside van.
3. Park van
4. Pass inspection
5. Bring inside
If you follow these steps you will succeed. also a few hours in a van wont hurt the plant. I've moved entire growhouses in a rental before. Drop them off still stinking not giving a fuck... Colorado life.
