12 of them is quite pushing it but I'd say 10 of them should work well @220V using a 16A circuit breaker. Provided that no more than 3 are powered on/off at the same time. Obviously I haven't tested this.

It should be noted that you have to take into account the rating of your circuit breaker as well. If you have a B type circuit (not to be confused with a B-type DRIVER) then you can only switch, at most, two drivers on and off at the same time. Also as you start to approach max capacity for your circuit, the higher probability of your breaker tripping when you turn on a light.

Also, never exceed 80% of the current rating of a house hold circuit.

Yeah right. I assumed C type of the breaker. The 80% rule was taken into account as I've suggested 81.25% load.

not yet, would be on total 3 sockets but only one breaker

Still no availability. I did a search and one company has it listed in inventory with zero stock, just preparing for it's eventual availability I guess.

I was originally told that they would be released in late August.... here we are in october...

Mouser has a "place holder" HLG-240H listing.
Maybe Mean Well is waiting for the full slate of approvals.

They are in production. I suspect they will be hitting distributors in a few weeks...

I managed to secure 3 of them in 1050B flavor, being shipped to me next week... I wanted more but that was all they could get, having them shipped from the factory, so possibly they were dug out of pre-distribution packages or something similar.

Good guess! $74.10 each. I got a 60 cent per unit discount for ordering 3, lol.

niiiiiiiice..... I tried calling and emailing meanwell about these drivers and got told to talk to distributors.... Sounds like you got the right person.

Didn't mean to imply I got them direct. Meanwell is shipping them to the distributor who is shipping them to me, which is why it will be next week. The distributor is Straight Road Electronics in Cali. If you can't find their website they're the only distributor listing them on octopart so far. You could probably snag a few as long as you're not wanting the 1050B.

Bad news for me...it means it is going to cost 85 €...102 $!!!!!! I paid 71 € for the 185...85 $...so I guess it is going to be the same with 240...
And what a discount! ...lol!

If it happend to anyone...he's not here anymore...and we will never know he's dead...
I almost died Saturday night in Cannes! I was in the middle of the storm far from home...there was floating cars, fridge, all sort of things. ..! It was Crazy...pile of cars, trees, sand melted with gasoline and rocs and shit...no cc, no cash machine, no telephone, no internet (only on my phone!) Many shops closed...Unbelievable!
