Day 62, 63, 64, 65 (Nov. 23) - 51 Veg days, 14 Flower days

So, i did more research on super cropping and it's easier than i thought it would be. I just pinched and wiggle the branch until I hear a slight snap. I super cropped 5 of the longer branches. Super cropping appears to be working great! After just one day, i see that plant's energy is used to grow new branches before the snapped branch junctions.

Also i went out and bought bamboo to make a trellis to train my plant more. I basically brought the canopy back down a few inches and made everything even again. I still have about 8" until i hit the light. I decided to keep my 6500k CFL in place for now, but added a 42w 2700k uplight to the cab. This should add a little extra light to the bottom of the canopy.

Yeah, the first time I tried to supercrop I didnt read first and just bent the stem in a U downward without pinching it. The branches stayed but the next day were like they hadnt been touched. Tried again and Snap! Got an extra cutting..
Worked out much better after I read how you are supposed to do it. I dont twist or anything, just pinch until it starts to collapse and then gently fold over to resting spot. It eventually forms a knuckle.20151112_120522.jpg

You can fold them down a bit mor extreme, looks like the one might stand back up. It is best to do it all at once so the plant doesnt get shocked from having to continualy repair itself, but for next time you can almost point them down and they will curve back up.

3NiGM4 thanks for the super cropping tips bud. All these training techniques are great! I have learned so much about manipulating the cannabis plant's physical structure. These plants are damn resilient no wonder they are called "weeds". ;-)

Got some nice pics of 1 of her flowers. check it out! She's beautiful!

Keep super cropping it once that stem heals you can do it again. The plant looks awesome. I've seen many a grows were the plant grew into the light so shouldn't have have much to worry about

Day 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 (Nov. 30) - 51 Veg days, 21 Flower Days

Finishing up 3rd week of flowering. There hasn't been much stretching during the first 3 weeks of flowering. Still waiting for the STRETCH? The buds are filling in nicely. I have switched out 2 of the CFL bulbs from the 23w 6500k to 42w 2700k. Pulling about 210 watts at the wall now. I took out the up light, not sure if it was doing much.

Feeding has been about every 3-4 days.. or twice a week. I usually feed on Sundays, and Wednesday. I have added more nutes to the feed. Now i add the following per gallon: 10ml of CalMg_, 10ml of Liquid Karma, 10ml of Biothrive Bloom, 5ml of Fox Farms grow big, 10ml of Fox Farm big bloom, 10ml of Tiger bloom. I feed this at each feeding now. Haven't seen any nute burn yet...

There 20 bud sites on the plant now.

Enjoy!

Day 73, 74 (Dec. 2) - 51 Veg days, 23 Flower Days

Buds are filling in nicely now. Starting to smell a little strong now and some frost has develop on the leaves. Not sure why I haven't seen much stretching... maybe the supercrop has diverted the energy to new bud sites instead of growing taller.

The LED lighting seems to be penetrating nicely as you can see.

Looking very nice you should go online and check out fox farms feeding schedule I'm pretty sure grow big shouldn't be used anymore just the first two weeks of flower.

And as far as organics goes big bloom is the only organic fertilizer of the three don't really get why with all the other organic stuff they make

I used the trio plus Beastie cha ching and open sesame on my first few grows with excellent results just wasn't organic but still decent smoke. If you do want to try the other three people sell sample packs on eBay for a few bucks plus s&h

Day 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82 (Dec. 10 ) - 51 Veg Days, 31 Flower Days

Backed off the nutes a little bit. Will be only adding tiger bloom every other watering from now. Saw a little nute burn on the tips of a few leaves.

I had a question for you guys... what is a considered a good yield for a single plant in a cab grow? Right now i about 20 bud sites.. which are all very similar in size. I would image even at 4g dry per bud sites, i would have well over 2OZ when harvest. So... my question is what do you guys consider a "good" yield? i heard QP is considered very good for single plant cab grow.

Getting excited... about halfway through flowering!

Yea, I think you'll get 2 oz.
i am hoping to clear 5 - 6 oz from my 2 plants.
Should have been at least 10 ounces with the 2 mainlined plants, but I learned that less, is in fact more when it comes to nutes.

Next run, I hope to EASILY pass the 1 GPW threshhold.

Your buds will get a lot bigger, you're halfway there man. I wouldn't judge the quality of a good grow on weight, because there are things that are out of your hands like genetics.

Less is often more as the old saying goes. Which is so true in the world of cannabis nutes. I guess I'll be happy if i just got a oz. I still think there is a lot more time for my flowers to bulk up.

Thanks for the positive note. I know a good grow shouldn't be judge by the final yield, but often this is the matrix that everyone goes by. We'll see what i end up with. I am just happy it turned out to be a girl! lol

Day 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88 (Dec 16. ) - 51 Veg Days, 37 Flower Days

Wrapping up the 5th week of flower and the buds are doing great! The smell has really intensified and I am trying to figure a way to make a carbon filter for my exhaust. My exhaust is shaped as a large rectangle (8"x 18") . I will probably use Fishdeth's design and attached to my rectangle exhaust, probably have to mask off the extra space with gaffer's tape.

Some of the bottom leaves have started to turn yellow, portably due to not getting enough light. I have removed a few of those leaves.

In regards to yield.. i think i will definitely hit 1oz for sure. The buds are still growing every day and I am still about 4 weeks out from harvest. The lower branch bud sites are getting bigger too.

Some of the pics were taken with the flash. The colors are now more true to life. Enjoy!
