Hi everyone. This is my first grow and the grow room i have set up. What ya think?

The carbon filter in this pic is connected to the outlet duct? I get that but is that fan supposed to be that way around? Surely that would blow air the wrong way, back into the carbon filter? I'm not sure how all this works. I'm in the middle of designing a simple plan for my grow room, i figured with his success i'd use Dan's as my model, and i'm up to the ventilation. I'm going to thoroughly look into everything, including Carbon Filters, just wanted an idea of how they work and if that bloody fan is supposed to be that way lol. Cheers for any help.
I know Dan won't be replying, i doubt he even remembers who he is at this point lol.
I'm not sure i did that picture right btw, we'll see when i post *fingers crossed*

It is always better to pull air through a carbon filter or through a hood that has the capability. It is more efficient. Just flip around your inline fan.
Also, the less ducting you use the more efficient the fain is at circulating air. Any bends in the ducting will cause a loss of airflow. If you have to bend do it gradually at 15-20 degree angle over an extended segment of ducting.

I get that but what i mean is from the looks of that picture it seems the fan is blowing air INTO the Carbon Filter, which seems odd. From what i understand a Carbon Filter is meant to scrub the air clean as it is sucked through it's body by some kind of fan. There is a fan, but isn't it mounted the wrong way to PULL air through? The fan in the picture seems instead to bring in air from the attic through the ducting and PUSH it out of the CF back into the room. I dunno i might have it wrong, cheers for getting back to me though man +rep

Begs the question .... why do the plants actualy smell , I understand its to attract insects to come an help pollenate and to deter other things from comming close ....What is it supposed to be attracting or scareing off ? ...maybe its scared DTB away ?

Hahaha you enjoying an early harvest man? Why do the plants smell? Why is the sky blue (or grey round my parts
)? Loving the philosophical theoriseing lolI recon the smell has actually attracted DTB a bit too much and that explains his absence lol/ Hopefully the smell will die down and he'll be back
he managed to sign on as his passwords were saved, but hes most probably still sat dribbling at the keyboard trying to work out how to type good shit man!

Hi everyone. Well its been a while since i have posted. I have been enjoying the fruits of my labour and have done some travelling.....
Anyways ((((( IM BACK )))))
For the last 6 weeks i have Planted my seeds and i can now say that i may just have a grow on. lol I have over 150 clones from my 7 mothers. they are all blue cheese. I will be starting a new thread in the next few days.
I have changed my room some too, all will be posted in my new thread...
So............... How are you all. ????? and what do you have going on.....
J, You still my boiiiiiiiii. sry no phone mate.....lol got eaten by a turtle beleve it or not......
Ok I got to go attend to somthin now so i'll be starting my new thread by the weekend and will show you everything i can on what's new and improved.....
