Hi everyone. This is my first grow and the grow room i have set up. What ya think?

dan please help lol . just got the unis co2 controller , but im not sure when to run it and how to , i get the part of measuring ur room and inputting on cotroller but then how would i no when its gona run and when to shut of the intake/exuasts ? please help thanks man , should i run the unis on a timer for 1 hour every 3 and in the hour its on turn off exuasts and intakes ?

Hi

I'm pretty new to this so don't take what i say as being totaly correct ...im just telling you what i see and how i think its done after watching some vids and reading some websites .... So check around first

The Unit has to be set to the room size ( you have that bit covered i think )
Connect the unit to a timer set for 15 - 20 minz 3-4 times a day ... but set your fan and air intake & extraction to be off while the CO2 is being pumped .

I really do think its that simple .... here is a clip from a well watched video on how this guy does it ... he makes it sound simple ... even though hes as high as a kite heheh

Thanks for the props vento. I am no master grower just another noob who was a couple of weeks ahead of Dan so making mistakes before he did and warning him lol.

ok a new one for you guys found a place to refill co2 , when refilling do i want mixed gas nitrogen and co2 or 100% food quality co2 ? thanks guys

100% co2. Medical and welding supply businesses usually have fantastic prices. If you are only getting a 20lb bottle, then ask if they have an aluminum tank. It weighs so much less and is easier on your back. They don't make them in anything over a 20lb though due to the metal warping under the pressure of a much larger tank.

Scuba Diving places are allso a good option... worth checking prices if you have a dive center near you

Innit? All the snaps of the buds on their plants meant nothing to me (haven't grown yet) but fuck me that put it in perspective. Insane stuff. Un... real! Danthebull you are a legend! That was a long but bloody brilliant read mate. I'm a bit late to subscribe and follow (i've only just found RUI after it was posted on another forum), shame really, but i'll be bookmarking this grow so i never lose it, and when the time comes i can draw upon it for my own grow.

I'm not going to be able to start a grow of my own for quite some time yet (i still live at home with mummy lol wouldn't be fair), so looks like i'm going to be following in your footsteps of 2 years + research and planning, but if i can get a grow going that is even half the measure of yours it'll be worth it. It definitely has been for you haha. Amazing stuff pal, true inspiration to all noobs. You can go pro with your first grow, grow big or go home and all that. Just gotta put in the effort and you certainly did that. Along with some invaluable advice from everyone else, especially jondamon i noticed, you've pretty much given me all the info i need for now as well as a good target to attempt to reach one day.

Oh btw i noticed you are from West(?) Yorkshire. You have another northerner on the forum. I'm just from across the pennines lad East Lancs, may as well be Yorkshire from t'accent lol

How are the police for Cannabis "factory" raids in your area? Every week or so i see in the local paper they've busted another grow in my neck of the woods. It is a little off-putting but from the pictures they usually look like right dodgy get ups. proper rented house, tapping the 'leccy, send a vietnamise lady in once a week to water jobbies. I'm sure with such a well thought out, stealth grow like yours it would be safe around here. Hell if you're confident enough to even have the po po around to complain about a crime committed against you it must have been stealthy lol.

is dan ever gona com back ? could really do with his advice on this unis controller and temps getting to hot when exuast and intake shut off :*(

Dan used AC to keep temps down but did not shut the fans off when dosing he fed it in at canopy level.

thanks for quick reply m8y,so he left the exaust and intake on while dosing or just intake? sry but i really am noob and by canopy level you mean top of ladies yes? also did he use that layflat release tubing or just normal like 13mm tubing?

he kept all fans running while dosing he did this because he had no way of controlling temps.
yes canopy is the top of the ladies Co2 is heavier than oxygen therefore needs to be at the top of the plants .
he had just normal 13mm tubing no extra attachments. i know this because when we moved his girls out for flush time it started dosing into my ear and i freaked thinking it was a bug or something, turned around and it was a single 13mm tube staring at me lol

awww i see nice m8y , did he a have a co2 monitor to measure the co2 levels (ppm) ? and could u see a visable diffrence using co2 even while using with fans on? and lmfao . i would have run out screaming i h8 bees lol

and i guess he just poked pin holes around a foot apart in the 13mm tubing ?

not sure about the pin holes

cant say whether there was a difference with fans on or not. i grow 4 plants at a time without additional Co2 just good airflow.
