Well i just got done re-doing my flowering room. I put up some new reflective material on the walls and added to my light setup. I now have a total of 240watt and a total of 17,600lumens. The total square foot of the grow room is 3.9sf. So i am getting around 4,512lumens per square foot. I am getting a new 250watt HPS grow light real soon so i will be putting down more like 8,461lumens per square foot. I am going to start 6 AK-47 clones as soon as these 4 get done. I am getting 7 clones but i was thinking of keeping one as a mother to get more clones off of later so i can keep a steady flow of plants in and out. I got my copy of "Buds for less" today and i got one of the 60-100 microscopes today and i have about 10% amber and 90% cloudy trichs. I will be keeping an eye on them for the next couple weeks to get them at their prime state.

Yeah man nicely done for cfls.
You will love your new hps when you get it.
For years i grew with just fluro tubes and halogens and wouldn't put up the cash for a hps as i was stubborn and stingy, now i can tell you i love my 400watt hps like i love my 8 meg broadband in comparison to my old 56k modem lol:mrgreen:
Best of luck with it anyway, you did a good job for cfls:peace::joint:

Well to be honest. I am just wanting to see what i can do with a HPS light in this small area. I just want the most out of the room that i have. Plus i just noticed something with my two big plants. They are hermie. Both plants have seeds and that just sucks. Oh well, I guess you cant have everything go perfect on the first try.

Well firstly, i wish i would have known about the book by Seemorebuds. It is called Buds for less. I just picked up my copy at a local book store. You should just get the book and copy his setup to a T. That is what i wish i would have done. And i will still try a couple plants with his setup in the near future. Like i said i am getting a 250w HPS setup in about a week. I want to flower 6 AK clones that i will be getting next week also. I really want to see what i can get out of the room that i have. And i think the 250w HPS will be perfect for my 3.9sqft room. I am running a total of 240w of cfl and the HPS will only be around 10 more watts but it will be double the total lumens. I am shooting for at least 1oz from each plant. I still have another area that i can use for another cfl grow and i will be using at least 10-12 42w cfls for that room. I may just get another 6 clones for that grow and do a comparison between the cfls and HPS. Should be fun.

Well i think that i found the culprit. I think that it was one of my AK-47's that turned Hermie and pollinated the other plants in my flowering room. I tried to get a pic of what i think is male parts on my AK. If anyone has experience with a plant turning hermie on them could you tell me if that is what i have circled in the pic below. All help would be greatly appreciated.

OK guys, i just posted the same pic in the indoor grow forum and it has been confirmed that it is hermie. Well i am glad this happened in my first grow so now i know what to look for in the future grows.
