help with nutrients, best choice, which to use???

Hi folks. OK, I'm definitely ready to get going with my hydroponics project, but the one question I seem to be unable to resolve is choosing the "right" nutrients.

I was actually at a hydroponics / indoor gardening expo in San Francisco a few weeks ago, but I had no idea that there would be so many different products and types of nutrients available.

It was awesome . . . but also confusing.

So I plead for superior wisdom here.

Anyone who may have a favorite choice of nutrients, or may have had terrible results with "brand x" whatever, I welcome all suggestions offered.

Much appreciated . . .

What kind of hydroponics? I personally don't recommend anything organic in an active hydroponic system.

I'm partial to the DynaGro nutrients. They're affordable, concentrated, have good NPK levels, and also already contain micronutrients in the mix. Tried and true, been around forever.

I love general hydro flora nova grow/bloom+GH koolbloom for heavy flower. Also you need something to control algae like h202. Then prob ph down. That would be my first grocery list. Good luck and JAH Love!

I used a mix salad of nutes:

1. SensiBloom A&B
2. BigBud / MonsterBloom
3. OverDrive
4. Cal-Max (Grotek) just $11 vs $25+ for other brands n works great.
5. Hygrozyme (For healthy roots n when you have RootRot)
6. Molassess (Soil) n Sweet or BudCandy (Hydro)
7. H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide 3%)
8. Seltzer Water (CO2 in a way n plants seems to love it) btw just .68 cents 1L bottle at my SuperMarket.
9. SUPERTHRIVE (My secret ingridient) I use it all the way.

if the hygrozyme contains enzymes then it is pointless using that with hydrogen peroxide.

why are you using hydrogen peroxide in soil anyway?

use microbes instead.
