Help with container size? And everything else

Its all about lumens per ft...keeping in mind that light fades after 1' so by moving light back an forth would lessen the light quality outside the critical footprint...2 lights make ur critical space larger

I would get a smaller footprint dialed in first. I think 2x600 would probably be more efficient in that space, from a electricity usage and temp management standpoint. I still wouldn't do it until you got a couple runs under your belt in the space, a lot of other things to concentrate on.

Then again, maybe I am just jealous since I do not have that sort of space :)

i have just started my first larger scale grow, i have built a room in a corner of my garage (approx15'x9') and insulated it with insul board. have a 6 inch 400 cfm fan intaking for the room. then inside the room we have 2 grow tents, and a clone cabinent on the wall veg tent is 3.5'x4'x86", the bloom tent is 4'x8'x8' HUGE ASS GORILLA grow tent, which guys is seriously one of the best even though i am not a tent fan...anyway thats the gist of my room size, we have 2 6 inch inline and 2 8 inch inline fans, we also are using an 8 inch duct booster. the main point to my rambling which i do when i type, is our cool tube setup is 2 1000 watt HPS lights in MEGA huge reflectors straight through designs, with 8 inch tubing. now heres how my setup of flow runs, we have an intake port cut in our wall to our garage, which is by a window on the other side in case we need cooler air at times from outside, bug filter on that intake port on the garage side, then just inside the room, is a y split one going down to a 6 inch 400 cfm inline fan pulling air inside for the whole room, which the tents pull from the room. then going up from the Y split is our 8 inch cool tube duct, which goes through both lights then is exited on the other side of the tent and then up into our attic through a port in the ceiling. THUS the main object of the setup using 2 1k watters is to have the heat generated by them never get into the grow room air, its pulled from a lung room where the air is cooler than the tens by far, over the lights out the tent and out the room into the attic which is vented to the outside, our temps are easy to keep under 80 degrees with lights on starting in early to mid september, then we are fine until around june, which is when in that window by the intake goes an a/c, and inside the grow room is another a/c that has ducting exiting its hot air into the attic as well.couldnt think of any better way to do it with the house and space we had, along with the budget, which was actually more than we anticipated.. -BRK
