They have looked good up until now. They are currently in their 1 gallon pots. I use ffof soil with 25% perlite. 4 150w equiv. 5700k cfl bulbs. Water when it looks dry (around 3 days). 80-84 degrees and 40-50% humidity. I noticed the bottom leaves changing color a bit and slowly started to yellow over a few days so from what I had been informed I got some nutes(pic above) to try and solve a nitrogen deficiency. I watered them with it yesterday and after 24 hours they looked perky but the leaves closer to the bottom have only Gorton more yellow and one leaf has a brown spot. Can anyone help me out with what he issue could be and any solutions? (Oh and they have been topped a week or so ago)

ffof has ferts in it already. I think if I were you I'd let the soil dry out, then transplant in a bigger container with holes in the bottom to let excess water out. water all the way to runoff and don't add more fert. see what happens. plants these days seem to be fert sensitive. it's hard to tell what you're problem is but based on ffof having fert and you're adding more, I don't think that's good. don't mix with perlite, just use straight ffof. you have to give the soil time to dry out before you water again.

I'm using ffof soil and it's rather hot so I've been using half strength on the nutes and my ladies are doing better. I've started doing a feed schedule of water only, water molasses, and then nutes. That way they can use up what's in the soil before I give them more. Hope this helps.

Too much of any one nutrient can lock out another so hot soil plus nutes can cause a lockout causing the deficiency to appear.

looks like a ph problem or possible overfeeding to me , what do u mean by "looks dry" are u judging it by weight?

One gallon of soil per month of growing is probably the minimum. I suggest potting up. maybe not depends on the plant. It's a good guideline though.

I don't know exactly what's wrong, but my guess is too much of either phosphorus or potassium. I think if I were you, I'd transplant to 5 gallons of happy frog and never add anything else, unless I was certain it was necessary. this really doesn't look like too much N, but I really don't think it's a deficiency because those soils have fert and you've given more. If it's is a def it's probably a micro nute like boron or zinc, but I really don't know. you really don't need much else with those soils. try just happy frog and water, and see how it does. make sure there are drain holes at the bottom of the container, water all the way to run off and let soil dry out quite a bit before you water again.

No added nutes. The soil I used is 1 part ffof 2 part ffhf and 2 part perlite. I've seen no improvement I removed the bottom set of leaves and the set above has become even worse and browning. I've also noticed these brown specs on newer growth almost at the top. Any other ideas I don't want these poor girls to die on me.
