Bonjour
What do you use for vegg atm?
I have a 400mh that I want to throw by the window since I saw the difference with the cxb 3590 3500ºk so a bloom spectrum...unbelievable!
You will be impressed!
Have a great day ★

Cxb 3590 3500ºk vegg better...in my case...than my super blue (my ass) 400w MH on an electronic ballast...no doubt possible...very green, dense, thick stem and leaves, etc...I can't imagine 5000/6500ºk it must be crazy!
And for bloom...a friend of mine though I was in week 7...It was at end of week 3...but when I watch the one under 600hps I know it is week 3...I start to hate hps...cxb makes me hate hps I guess...who would want to keep going with hps after trying cxb 3590 it would be insane!...I mean it!
Have a great day ★

I hope I feel as you do soon. I've made a significant investment in these chips and I look forward to seeing the early returns.

Ttystik mon ami I grow since enough time to tell you you're not going to believe it! And I guess we're in good relation so I want to keep it like this so no lies between us!
And I never read a post of an unhappy cob user...find one!

Yeah, the biggest complaints involve light bleaching because they didn't get their spacing right.

I'm looking forward to it. The day is coming soon when there will be a great reckoning in my grow room and then there will be nothing but COBs....

Bonjour mes amis!
I am sooooo agree with you on this one!
I understand why company make small panels to fit the center of the box!
But when you see the results some have with only one cob...and the max spread of a cxa/b 3070/3590 and V29!
You wonder why peoples don't spread their lights uniformly!
A cxb 3590 @1400mA can light a 2x2 area...not so well on the side but it can...a 1.5x1.5 area is easy to light with one so why put it closer to each other...it should be 1.5 fett between each to use all the light of your expensive cxb...I have a moby dick at 4 inch from the cob and no problems (it is the highest bud of all) it is more logical to me to think that if I have 4 light sources I split the box in 4...and I will do the same in the 4x4...I will start with 9 and split it in 9...nine part with a cob in the middle of each part...to finish with 16 cxb...one over each sq/ft...literally!
It is full of good photon...but like for the Ghostbusters! it is not good to cross it too much!

I've heard several guys suggest just 8 CXB3590 in a 1m² area, they say there's no need for the one in the middle because of overlap from the rest. 8 CXB3590 with two x 200W drivers = roughly 1000 PPfd with only 400W.

I'd agree with their approach without reservation.

Bonjour
I am ok for 9 cxb 3590 @1050mA...
Maybe 4000ºk db
I am sure that if you don't space the cob correctly you loose light...
5 week before harvest...we will see if I am right!
