But how many fans will that be good for? I need to power four fans x three. 12 total, divided on three different bars. I just want it to be easy and neat.

robincnn tested and found the shell to be non-conductive. to be safe I still attach green wire to
my heatsinks\chassis.

There are 3 or more small hexagonal shapes that pop out at bottom and are conductive, if these touch heatsink then its grounded
also screw might likely chip away a little anodized layer so very likely heatsink grounded too. But good to check.

Did you try the APV-12-12 already!?
Is it getting hot like a hlg-185-1400?
Maybe I will try this one with the controller for my next build...I wait to see how my dimmable 12V adapter works cause it is half price and work perfectly nice since now (X fingers!) And didn't get hot (barely)

I haven't put it together yet. I've got to acquire a couple tools to finish the build how I'd like. I decided to go the fence post route. I also still need to grab a molex adapter to power the fans. Pics to come.

I hope it works well. The APVs are very cheap, and Jerry sells them. I asked yesterday. He sells them at 4,5 USD. Seems like an easy solution and a good price for a meanwell product :)! Have a nice day everyone

I wonder why he do not sell complete package with all parts to build panels!?
Wirez, wago, fans, TIM, heatsink...we should suggest that to him! Isn't it a good idea!?
Why he didn't do it already?
Practical for us and more money for him!

I've been waiting on lenses for over 2 weeks. There was the Chinese holiday and then a week after it ended I inquired about the lenses I had ordered. He told me he was out and waiting on the factory to make more. Still haven't heard back yet. You guys are pushing their production capacity to the max!!

I was wondering, if I wanted to use Heatsink USA sinks, cut to approx CPU size with a 120mm fan on it, what profile do you think would be ideal?

Yeah, the space is still being allocated in a garage and isn't moving as quickly as I'd like. I've pretty much decided to do modular bars, or maybe a couple 4x4 fixtures. Some funding is going to have to come from this run to help pay for all the parts though. If I'm going to go with all cxb3590, that's a nice little chunk... The devil is in the details.
