Heath's Dizzy !!!

Well where do I start! I decided about 4 weeks ago to grow some old genetics I have, I found a 2005 pack of C99 from spice bro's (Fet) and started them under 12/12 to see if there was anything worthwhile.

You can imagine my surprise when this little beauty started to emerge!. I can only think that in the seed sorting stage Fet accidentally dropped a dizzy seed into the mix by accident.

For those of you who don't know the background There was a heated debate amongst some about the origins of "Dizzy" fet swore blind that Dizzy was totally different to Australian Bastard Cannabis (ABC) also known as Bindi. ABC is a hardy, low potency plant which will stand cold temps whilst Fet stated that Dizzy was a tropical plant which needed high humidity and temps.

Here is a little info on ABC http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/articles/1651.html

and here is my plant, I dont know its sex yet so we will have to wait and see.

Can't wait to see how this one buds out. Someone shaved out the jagged leaf dna.
Haha, seems to be the case, doesn't it? Heath, do you think you're going to get a decent amount or quality out of this? I ask, because I am wholly uneducated about this type (ABC) of plant. Or is this just more of an experimental grow?

MrLzyBones, Serenity1, Dr. Greenhorn, pinner and CaptainPointless, thanks for calling in.

yes its a strange one and I don't know how it will pan out. the potency of the ABC is supposed to be poor, Fet reckoned that the Dizzy had a larger yield and had better potency so I wont know until the plant is older. I dont even know at this stage whether its male of female, not that it matters as I intend to breed with it as soon as I can, I have taken some cuttings off it so watch this space!.

Very exotic, Heath.

If Wally Duck's work with off-mainstream sativa's in his Duckfoot breeding effort is any indication of potential success, then perhaps the C99 he used could be applicable here with Dizzy. He did have some success as you may recall.

In fact you might find that the Duckfoot itself could be a closer initial cross with Dizzy since it does have significant resin production and seems to take crosses - or even Wally Ducks DF X C99 cross for that matter.

Just a suggestion...

Carnack, vh13, smokinmayne, MediMary and wonderinaliceland Thanks to you all for calling in

Im not sure what I will cross it too att he moment, I might go for a true breeding strain but a splash of purple in flower would definitely add to the stealth!.

Ok latest update the cuttings have rooted and the seed plant has been put into flower, hopefully in the next week or so we will see ifI have a male or female Dizzy.

hopefully its a male! imagine the stability of the genetics....
i just saw this thread, and knew it would be worth a read just by the author, tho breeding is not my thing.
and while im kissing ass, i also wanted to say thanks for the insipiration ive gotten from your other threads. the fast recirculating tubular dwc is something ive been looking for, for a long time, and would never had thought up on my own, nor applied it in a manner like you have. i love to K.I.S.S., and the height adjustment collar was pure genius, as well as the small rez with flooded tubes.

good luck with this little project you have, i hope the ganja gods reward you with a pheno that yields like big bud, grows like northern lights, and gets you high like the first time, everytime

Nice, I'm sure you know how lucky you are since you plan on breeding with it. For god's sake keep those genetics going and try crossing things with it. The Duck's Foot was supposed to be pretty decent actually. If it's a female you could always do a coloidial silver treatment and produce some pure feminized seeds of this for another run later. If so PM me and I want some of the beans!

What do you mean 'the seed plant'? Did you seed the original mom, or do you mean the male to make the seeds with? What male are you using anyway?
