Has anyone dialed in their girl scout cookie, organically? This damn strain...

So I've run the girl scout cookie like four times, tweaking it here and there, and I cannot get this damn plant to get me much more than an ounce and a half, maybe two ounces.
The smoke is really great, super dense nugs, VERY frosty, and very strong...
BUT I can't get this thing to yield anything...
Anyone have this dialed in organically? the plant looks just fine, it's just like it's in slow motion or something..
I know of a few that run hydroponics/chem grows and they do better...
but the thing veges slow as hell, and yields VERY little..
All my other strains love my mix and my methods but this one is just like a pygmy plant...
It's a DHN cut if that helps, but I've gotten this strain a couple times from different people and it's always the same...
is it just "like that"?
Almost am going to cut it from my "keeper" list, if only the smoke wasn't so GOOD...

Just picked my GSCs last night- very small yield but the bud that is there seems very good smelling & super dense. Every review I read says she's a consistent low yielder so yeah might be the last time I run it myself. My strawberry sour diesels and critical sensi stars will likely yield double even with less plant count. I'll be lucky if I pulled an oz of cola buds off three plants....then again I do have a nice big tray of trim and popcorn to make into concentrate:

Good to hear she's a slow grower, we were in week 8 and I felt they were behind or that I was doing something to slow the growth. Closing out week 11 now and still doing their thing.

This is our first run of GSC and they are from Bagseed. Will be happy to share yield after harvest, as we run with organic compost teas and filtered water too.

thanks to both of you, I was hearing the same things, from EVERYBODY on the central CA coast, but I really like the smoke, it's a nice strain, but damn it doesn't even fill in the container with roots, it's like the damn thing literally is growing at half speed, but doesn't seem to take super long to mature (forgot to note when I added that one to the room)
Super nice herb though...
but my double dream yielded 1.5 times the amount and I flipped that one from clone, the GSC I veged for like 45 days...

I thought it was worth a try maybe somebody had some kind of trick... maybe it doesn't like organics.. like the chemdogs (although my chemdog 4 did pretty damn nice with organics)

Possibly it has something to do with a specific cut or phenotype of GSC?

Gsc won't yield for shit no matter what you do. It's a hash making strain. Unfortunately it's a strain that suffers from M.N.D micro nug disorder. If you want a good yielding cookies you will have to get a cookie cross like nightmare cookies or mint chocolate chip.

indeed... I can def see it's potenttial in making hash, only the nugs are some damn dense and hard it'd be hard to get all those trichs from the middle, course for oil or extracts I imagine it does well.
I just really like the effects, not for it's strong strength but it's overall profile.
I may just keep it until my Bodhi strains bump it from the "starting lineup"
Which I imagine they'll do, but they are in vege still so I have some time before i'll know for sure.
Sorta reminds me of a strain I got yrs ago called the "deep chunk, or something chunk" can't remember.. but the smoke and nugs were awesome, but tiny... and nothing I could do made it better..
I put that sucker outside and the nugs were so hard I literally broke a blade of my fiskars chopping up the nugs to roll a joint.
No joke, the blade itself broke. Granted I used the hell out of those scissors but still.
Maybe I should do some pollen chucking to see if a male can help the GSC, hmmmm.. just so happen to be running those Bodhi seeds.... bound to get a boy in there....

as unrooted cuttings and I still run them.

The big ones in the back are shown at 9 weeks of veg so far.
I veg for 12 weeks. Yields are pretty decent but not as much as expected.
The rock hard popcorn nugs don't
grow that big but good enough cause
it's a killer strain to smoke no doubt.

are those CFls to keep them in vege?
keep tryin to convince my buddy to do that, he keeps bitching about his clones flowering in may, and I keep telling him he needs to extend the day, OR clone his shit under 15 hrs..
Very nice plants, and i'm not saying my GSCs are unhealthy.. just SLOOOOW.. like the vege is literally half speed of my other strains.

Yes the CFLs are to keep them in veg and your right when you say
he needs to extend the day if their flowering early in May.
Maybe It's where I live cause we have these hot streaks of 100+ degrees
in the summer and when its at it's hottest here the plants were getting watered
up to 4 times per day so I might have got faster then usual growth in this case?
That's what I'm thinking. I hear outdoor plants perform best at 76 degrees.

this is all good inf grease monkey,just won a contest winning 5 gsc seeds,from reading you and others comments ,i think what i will do is start the cookies a month before my ufc,veg my ufc for 8 weeks and the cookies for 12 weeks so i can flip all the same time. i have another strain from 15 yrs back that i just finished ,them fuckers had me pulling my beard hairs out ,haha dont have any on my head anymore,hard luck and girl scout cookie mix hmmm the hard luck was a mother fucker to keep under 5 ft tall,maybe a little breeding with them would produce a bigger yeild of the cookies in a couple runs down the road,interesting, got any idea how long a run from start to finish on the cookies take

I don't think so, I've done it outside (on top of a sunny-ass CA mountain) last yr, and it was small still, but VERY dense.
The other strain that it reminds me of, as far as being great smoke but small tiny hard-ass nugs, Is the Anesthesia that I've done a couple times, same type of stuff, GREAT smoke, but a whore to get yields from it.
the GSC is worse than the Anesthesia though, I can still get a good qp per plant... but this GSC is a bitch

hard to say, unless you mean from clone, as the one I have is a clone only, I believe.
but to do it right?
i'd say you'd need to vege it a good 60 days and train her under the light to get a lot o budding sites, it doesn;t really make colas like some strains do, just nugs. Hard ones, and stony ones, yes, but not big at all.
like I said, i'm gonna pollen chuck with some Bodhi males..
see what either the pineapple hashplant or the tranquil elephantiser can bring to the GSC..

This puppy yields and the smoke is GREAT......His ECSD (East Coast Sour Diesel) is fly too....Nice, nice genetics.....not cheap, but worth it!

And I don't care about price, if the genetics are good I will pay $$$ for them.
My problem is the GSC isn't quite "there" enough to be a connoisseur strain, it's good, but not to that degree, but almost, i'll keep it, and see if I can spice it up a lil.
