I like the cover crop idea never realky thought of having a color to match to *runs to home depot to grab all the green paint swatches in site* lol mine are looking like a seafoam green...
Only cover crop I could find at the local nursery......$3.00 for a 1000? seeds. Using them in a small 2 gallon pot may not be such a good idea, will see:P

i cant wait to see how things are going to turn out here. ive always really liked the hans panel!:bigjoint:
Hans panel likes you back:hug:..............ha............well the vipars have treated you damn well too alex:leaf:

Watch that crimson clover. It grows the tallest of all clover. Dutch white and red clover grow shorter. I decided on red clover because you can make a drinking tea with flowers. It fights cancer cells similar to cbd. I have a couple cancer patients that I deal with. I can give them the red clover flowers for free.

I had a few patches die. The surface of soil was too dry. Some looked dead. Then sprung back up after watering. They love the enzyme sst also.
Yeah thanks for the heads up, I knew it has the deepest roots of the clover family going in. Hoping the late perimeter planting will keep them shorter and not intrusive to the PPP bitches root system.

Not eating the clovers, it's just being used as a "green manure" and once the run is over i'll till them in...........the soil will just get better and better each grow supposedly, just some restructuring needed (small lava rock) and I'm done paying for new soil for years. Should have tried recycling soil long time ago, but stupid habits are hard to break.

Got to keep that soil moist huh! :)
Sick minds???????^^^^ ............oh I get it now...........duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:hump:

DAY 5 update on the Sensi seeds Pure Power Plant fem

Hans led V.1(65w) using No airstones and RO uprising line:

002.jpg003.jpg...........slow growth with the cooler conditions(fucking freezing here in the NE) and watering is a unnecessary ATM

Inda-gro par 100 + pontoons (117w) with airstones and Vegan ferts:

004.jpg005.jpg Doing a little better than the led side cause of mild heat from the induction bulb. Require more water as well obviously.

001.jpg007.jpg006.jpg.......at these growth rates I may have to lengthen the 24/0 schedule until larger(20 days??), not sure yet. Will see what the girls do and flip when I think the root system is big enough to handle 12/12, and the cold months ahead.

be safe and happy growing RIU

the clover also is a nutrient accumulator and provides enzymes and food for microbes while its alive. btw I'm seeing better results using more sst than compost teas. I'd say do a compost tea once every few weeks and sst the rest.

Anyway those sprouted good. Slower than before. That doesn't mean much though. With my strains. the ones that take longer to veg seem to have the larger buds when they finish.

if you don't like the uprisng (defs) a good budget nute regiment. Dr. earth tomato, vegetable, n herb ( no guano, bone meal, blood meal just has fish meal as the only animal anything) and kelp meal. top dress a 1/4 cup of each at the beginning of flower. For veg brew a kelp meal and alfalfa meal tea plus a kelp / aloe foliar.

rols is awesome. i haven't bought soil in about a year I think.. Next party cup comp i will be using rols cups from last comp.

Yeah nutrient accumulator, N fixer I've also heard...........early def indicator for me + green manure to till in at the end:)...The clovers will be planted this week.

I like the RO uprising line allot, my only mistake was going low dose(recommended application) and it has everything in it without sourcing a dozen diff organic ingredients.
Want to see how the vegan fert stacks up so no teas/or ss applications, next round for sure though. Anyways I have to use the RO line up on something.

locally Espoma(NJ) is available everywhere...........so that's the way to go for cheap for me, but uprising line has very litlle smell(as you know) and the ingredients are top notch. $50 gets you the whole line shipped from amazon and will last you.

I'm also be reusing my soil for the next party comp..........bring your A game friend:hump:

Day 19 from seed update on my Sensi Seeds PPP bitches:

Inda-gro par 100 w pontoons(117w):
013.jpg007.jpg008.jpg009.jpg010.jpg......not bad, the crimson clovers are popping through at good germ rates IMO. I always use diluted kelp in the spray bottle^^ to help with germination%. Perfect plant structure for small stealth grows===impressed

Hans led V.1(65w):
012.jpg004.jpg005.jpg006.jpg011.jpg....not bad either:P...........Hans panel still very effective in veg with a "heavy" red ^^ spectrum. Nice and tight internodes.... short and fat so training won't be necessary hopefully!

001.jpg003.jpg002.jpg 19th day of 24/0 and will flip tomorrow to 12/12 as I feel their large enough to handle to cool temps now. Also will top dress the ferts as they enter flower.

Happy holidays RIU and I hope Greensanta brought you what you wanted:P...............be safe and happy growing as always.

if you want a cheaper, flexible alternative to airstones, you can always use 1/4" soaker hose - that plus some t-fittings allows for some fun shapes. Also, you can terminate ends with a dab of hot glue vs. using oops plugs.

Good idea!..........I don't think it's doing shit personally:P

I like how each light ended up with a tall and short phono each. Keep it up!
yeah........wished they where all short and fat though! but you know how it goes:leaf:

DAY 39 update from germination with my PPP bitches

Hans led V1(65w) using RO uprinsing line and NO airstones:

003.jpg004.jpg009.jpg.......their doing ok, cold temps and what-not:). Also supercropped the lanky one under the Hans.

Inda-gro par 100 & pontoons (117w) using airstones and vegan ferts:

005.jpg006.jpg007.jpg010.jpg .....better growth rates, the girls are warmer under it. The stretchy one shrugged off the supercrop and touched the bulb again, small burn on the leaves. I tied her down^^ with a velcro strap and raised the panel.

Under this setup, probably......If I didn't kill off & males of ILP's cheesedreams that would have been hard to beat! those fucking anubis bitches that replaced them produced small yields(autos!!). thanks for the rep friend.

DAY 48 from germ with my sensi seeds PPP girls:

Hans led V1(65w) using the RO uprising line and NO airstones:

003.jpg004.jpg005.jpg......Flowering is at a crawl, but we'll get there:weed:. I see no issues other than temps.

Inda-gro par 100 with pontoons(117watts) using down to earth vegan mix and airstones:

006.jpg007.jpg008.jpg.......wow, difference is pretty big from the same strain IMO...yes the warmer temps under the induction are a big factor. The right bitch touched the light too! lol and got some burns, that's what I get for leaving them unattended for days:P

001.jpg002.jpg009.jpg010.jpg011.jpg......temps are gonna be brutal for the next couple days around here but then it should recover hopefully. ^^^the crimson clovers are showing no signs of any defs so far. 27th day of 12/12......be safe and happy growing RIU.

Can someone PLEASE fix the pic uploading on here!!!................it's brutal:wall:

dang your clover took off. I kept drowning mine when I watered. Then they popped back up after a couple weeks. I want to try bahia grass as a companion crop too. You can make mycorrhizae in the soil with bahia grass.

the other plants look really good too. Keep them healthy. oh and I don't see any party cup in there

Great grows you have going there psu--seems like the vegan mix is doing really well!

How are you using the Vegan Mix with airstones?
How much water
how much vegmix
how long do you let it bubble
Do you strain it?

Thx and good luck!

just a top dress at day 25? or around that, nothing but aerated room-temp dechlorinated water since then...........they need another dress soon cause the fade is starting to show. I like your idea of running it through the coffee grinder, may give it a try on the RO line and vegan mix!!

you should try the vegan mix without Jacks classic fert(chem) on one girl and see if their is an improvement.........I think you will be surprised;-)

DAY 55 from seed on my PPP girls:

Hans led V1 (65w) using RO uprising line and NO airstones:

003.jpg004.jpg.........no temp-break for these bitches, I tell them the Afghani mountains are colder than this so stop complaining! Looking to harvest around June with these rates....lol. Anyways just a little fade going on, nothing alarming yet.

Inda-gro par 100 with pontoons(117w) using DTE vegan mix and airstones:

005.jpg006.jpg........not bad, and chugging along. Also will get more ferts soon

001.jpg002.jpg007.jpg008.jpg.......pray for warmer temps and my sanity..........35th day of 12/12.......be safe and happy growing riu.

I'm not myself without the "like" button, first the pic-uploading and now this too........what the hell is going on in here???
