hairs turning brown?

i no a picture would help but I don't have a camera so I will describe my concerns...
I have a bag seed that I grew and its about 12 feet looking like a very Sativa dom. so I am thinking a 10-12 week flower period its about on its 6th week. looks a little skimpy compared to my others that are 6 weeks in as well, but most likely an 8 week overall period.
My main concern it that it could be a herm.. but have found no evidence. Its not a lot of brown hairs either so maybe its just a natural occurrence.
Also I have heard the hairs will turn brown if the female has been pollinated. I have been checking my other plants for hermi, but nothing. The possibility of pollen hitting my plants is some what low becuase I am working in a Screenhouse (walls and roof made up sunscreen fabric), but not impossible.
Any thoughts?

whats exatly the problem? why would you think it was a herm if you havent seen anything?even if it is a herm youll have some seeds in ya bud not a big deal let it grow and good luck.

I dont no, this guy I know checked out my shit, he is an much more experienced grower then me, and he said something about the hairs turning brown could me its gonna be a hermi or is pollenated.. but looks ok to me i just did a deep inspection..

i had the same thing happen to my last grow and mine turned out to be a hermie and all my shit was FULL of seeds, the buds turned out pretty shit too..lets hope yours turns out much better than mine did

I had a similar problem this year, with a few bubblegum plants. There were a few seeds in the plant, about 20 total i could find in 5 ozs. But also minimal mold in a few spots.

I think it may be pollination. Some of the brown hairs fell right out of the calyxes really easily too with minimal irritation. How far are you from harvesting?

Check it out...look in one of the buds and see if there is seed in the weed. Turning brown is normal for allot of plants.

Did the hairs shrinking back into the buds? Or did you notice?

itss not really a bud yet its juust like white hairs and a few are light brown at the tips.

I think you are just Trippin...lol All is good Shit I just harvested one all red pistles! 90%red....it is just maturing and will grow new ones as it develops! You will see!

they were a lightish brown colour then about a week later i noticed the seeds on it, i still tried drying them out and the buds turned this real brownish colour and were completely full of seeds...straight in the bin

If youve done a deep inspection and didnt find any male flowers, i wouldnt worry about. If its a hermi you would find the male pollen sacks poking out somewhere. Every once in awhile when i get a hermi I just pull off the male parts and let the plant finish, I think last the one I had that I pulled the male parts off only ended up get like 2 seeds out of the 4oz the plant produced. Some times the hairs on plants turn red prematurely: some times its strain specific, environmental issues (wind,rain etc...), or they could be pollinated (which I dont think yours is) but if your still worried about seeds once your calyx's begin to swell squeeze one in between your fingers and see if theres any seeds in there. Just my two cents
