H.I.D Headlight grow?

So i was surfing ebay looking for some hid's for the VW and i started wondering. You would also need this power supply . They are 35w each so 70 combined, but you could place them in corners of your box or at the bottom or sides for better under growth. Does anyone have have any clue to how hot these will get, or lumen's? Just a thought. What do you guys think?

haha. dude they create a lot of heat. you need some way to keep the heat down. thats why they have hood vents where you can connect an air supply to the hood so it sucks all the heat out before it kills your plants.

i don't have hid headlights on my car, do you know how hot they get?

very hot.... just hold your hand on the front of the light for 30 seconds it will burn.
