Growing Weed with Mama

Final Phase

Well-Known Member
We let them off with a warning the first time because we know their families, but from what I hear there is a whole group of them trying to rip everyone in town. They have already tried to come back but haven't gotten anything. They stashed another lawn chair outside the fence in prep to try again. But we will be ready for them. This season has made us work for it every step of the way.

On a sad note, a friend of a friend was mrudered over their crop, and my cousins dog was killed protecting theirs. Shit has gotten serious.
Sorry to hear... Crossing my fingers for you all...

STEALING is STEALING ... robbing tomatos or oranges or anyfood stuff is WRONG ... why cant those kids grow their own weed in the parents yards if it is so "ok" to steal it .... the answer is a live electric fence net man those foxes howl when they eat the bacon on the wire ....

this is my worry as well ... this time of year is strange for a cannabis farmer ... hope you all do well this season.
It makes me mad when people try to steel from me when I already give so much away. I already plant extra fruit and veggies every year for the neighbors to take what they need. We give away organges by the bag when they get ripe. The homeless and street kids always know they can come here for a snack. I try to be a good force in the community. But some people will always take advantage of that. I still wouldn't change things though. I know I have karma on my side.

So far we've confiscated 3 lawn chairs and this wood pallet from behind the fence that people have stashed there trying to get into the grow area. The other night we had two attempts in one night. First we caught someone trying to hide in the bushes to spy on us. Probably waiting for us to go to bed so they could come in for it. We confronted them and they tried to claim it was their property they were hiding on. We called them out on that since we know who lives there and who doesn't. Told them we were watching them.

Then a couple hours later there was a fat little punk moving the wood pallet up to the fence and trying to climb in. image.jpg
My husband ran up behind him in the ally and asked what the fuck he thought he was doing. "Coming to get some weed" he said cockily. My husband pulled out his machete so he knew he wasn't fucking around, then blasted him with my pepper spray. Then we called the cops and filed a report against him. It was funny as fuck watching my husband talk to the police while holding the machete and pepper spray. The cops didn't flinch. They know us pretty well by now, lol.

He's crazy brave. I'd like to think we both are. ;) But he has seriously been through more shit than anyone I know. I could make a action movie about his life.

He grew up dirt poor in a family that worked for the cartel in Mexico growing opium and pot. They would strap money and drugs under his sisters dresses and send them to make deliveries as little kids. People were always trying to kill his dad and shooting at his house. He remembers hiding in the bushes as a kid while hit men went after his dad. His dad got drunk and burned down their house at one point and they lived in the street. He was sold as slave labor at 9 to a neighboring farm and worked/lived there for a few years before he was shipped here as a teen, all by himself to get away from that horrible future. On his way here he was robbed at gunpoint and they stole even his shoes and left him alone in the Mexican desert. He almost drowned crossing the river and hurt his leg. He made it here with no money and no possessions. Years later he was ran over and left for dead in Southern California and survived that. Straight over the abdomin and broke his ribs. Then later he was attacked by a gang in NorCal and left in a dumpster, found by the garbage man and made it into the news that time. That's close to when I met him when he was already in his early 30's. Since then life has been pretty calm other than the show down with rippers we keep feeling with now. Wouldn't you buy that movie?

That's how I feel too. It makes me realize no matter what I've been through my life has still been pretty privileged. He's definitely got some PTSD issues from it all.

That's magazine quality stuff. Beautiful. Things have been pretty quiet the last few days, thankfully. I lost my phone off the top of my car so I have no pics to post right now. I'm just harvesting the last few plants. The alien finished with dense chunky buds and I'm really pleased with my Blue Widow x Deadhead cross. Similar to blue dreams in some phenos and more sour/kushy in others. I'm excited to grow it again next year. I also made some seeds with it and my Spaceballs male. The SpaceBalls is a friends creation that js AlienOG x Hashberry. I used it in a few new crosses.
