...Alien OG is one of my favorites...
Nice grow going! This is my first year doing my own grows (just finished my first indoor, now doing my first outdoor). I've been reading a lot of threads on here, and I've read the names of what seems like countless strains. Finally someone else has one I've got, and likes it! LOL... I've got four clones (so far) in this years outdoor -- and one is an Alien OG. Really glad to hear you like it, I was swinging in the dark when I chose what to plant this year. :)

That's about how it was for
me too. I didn't know anything about the strain. I had just started up my indoor for the winter and it seemed like my seed plants were taking forever, so I bought a few clones to get things going. That day I bought

Alien OG
Blue Widow
Holy Grail
Purple Cindy
Hindu Kush
Banana OG
GDP

Only the GDP, Holy Grail, and Alien were keepers for my outdoor.

they get real big. I grew it 3 years ago . that was the first year I started getting russet. Didn't know what it was. thought it was the strain. might try it again now that I think I have them wopped.
That's interesting. The Alien is the plant that spurred me to read your thread. I've noticed she can get the taco shell leaf when she is stressed and I was worried about the mites. My indoor plant did it when I moved her from veg to flower, but then flowered out without issue. She was one of my best plants this winter.

Then again when I moved my outdoor plants outside and put her in the ground and got a few leaves curling. But never any other signs of pests. Nothing I can find on the scope. I've been looking around and it seems like a lot of people have aliens like that.

subbed im also planning to grow cherry sherbet and neverland outdoor i've just popped my seed
That's great. I'll have another grower to bounce info off of throughout the grow. Mine just popped above ground. 2 Cherry Sherbet. Then I also started 1 Chem4OG from Cali Connections that I one from their photo contest. It's weird that one of my least impressive pics was the one that won.

Wow!

I've never seen anything like it. Usually I'll find a caterpillar or two falling out of this tree in the spring. They seem to like it. But I've never seen numbers like this before. This year is going to be insane for pests in California.

OMG they must like the tree they are in. Spinosad?
I hit everything with neem this morning and probably spinosad in a couple days. I've been going hard on pest control with my organic regimine. Trying to stay on top of things. Been using neem, spinosad, pyrethrin, neem.... spinosad, pyrethrin... I like to use the pyrethrin in a hose end sprayer to blast the area around my grow. Hopefully we can both keep the pests away this year.
