Grow Tube - Part Deux

Is she still pushing white hairs on top? Are the calayxes on the bud tips swollen? Hang in there man.

white tips are browning up and new white ones are pushing up - so the answer is both, helps add to my confusion
the calyxes are swollen, at least on part of the main cola - some parts more than others

I read this entire thread and drewled all over my keyboard. Very cool, you may have taken 100,000 cars worth of carbon emmsions off the road getting people to switch to cfls!

Day 68 of 12/12. Still too many clear trics to cut.

However, seeing some amber trics in greater numbers. Clear amber, which i had seen before. Just more, but still less than 1%.

More pics, going to keep a record to the end.

Day 70 of 12/12. Lord have mercy, never thought it would be this long, and it's still not quite done.

On the other hand, big jump in maturity. Cloudy trics showed up in numbers. Maybe 1/4, might be a bit more. The picture though caught an 'island' that was more clear. That's what I seem to see. Swaths of clear, then more cloudy will show up. Pics for your viewing pleasure.

thank you sir, i am a bit different - actually it's upstate NY, more laid back up here
1 week could be, maybe a bit sooner - the maturity really took off the last 2 days
everything else was dead on with this strain behaving in the classic nl#5 way
squat, low odor, pine/citrus smell, and big buds

awesome grow man-outstanding++++rep
I can't believe your plant is that big with only 78watts of light going to it!!!!

one thing I like about the NL's is there low odor!!!!!

Absolute brilliance! Can't wait to hear the dry weight of this grow! Just a question, what is the diameter of your grow tube? I am trying to find the surface area so I can get approx. how many foot-candles per square foot you achieved these great results with!

topher, the tube has a 15 inch diameter, which i calc'd out to about 1.2 sq. feet - the 26w bulbs have an initial lumen rating of 1750 - by lumens(aware lumens is not a perfect measure) the inside of the tub is getting about 4400 lumens per sq. foot

now for the plant - i was really, really sure she would be cloudy enough on the trics to cut the main cola
not! just scoped her out, frost, frost, and more frost, but not enough 'cream'
this will be getting very close to 11 weeks of 12/12 - like some sativa in indica clothing
well, fresh pics in a little while

she looks great, im exited to see the harvest and hear the smoke report.
