have you done this setup with a wing reflector, heat is what is prob going to be a issue, what about ventilation if using it, would I need a intake fan or just a good exaust fan to pull air from the intake? sorry , I'm more of a outdoor grower, basically I just want to know has anyone done this setup with wing, so I know what to expect,

Hey, I have a setup with 400w from iPower on ebay I'm a 24"×48"×72" and my light is much bigger than I expected, measuring 23" wide. I just put it up today, so not sure about heat factor yet.20151123_200353.jpg

nice set up, ours will be real similar, I wish I was able to get a ac hood, I got the wing reflector, I'm worried I will run in to heat problems but, imma try get a good inline fan to exaust a huge amount of air and maybe I'll get a small fan for intake

heat will be an issue, i'd get a couple of decent fans and make sure that you have your lights on at night the during coolest part of the day so it also keeps the temp and humidity as low as possible.

Yep this thing is getting super hot. I know just by feeling it that it's 10 degrees in tent higher than my room. I need to find a solution to this ASAP. But it's already too loud so Idk what I am gonna do at all.

You'll need 6" ducting, 4" inline fan and carbon filter, 4" to 6" duct reducer. You dont need a huge fan thats why i said a 4" inline fan. Heat will build up lots in that small tent and will reach up to 120 degrees without ventilation.

Pictured here are 6 auto flowering, this is an old photo(two weeks ago), buds are done forming ad time for them to start fattening up. I am able to fit my 4" inline fan from Ventech, it is the most quiet inline fan on the market, even quieter with my dict muffler attached to it, barely noticeable, and does push alot of air, i recommend it to you 100%. Amazon has this too for 150

i'm doing a 400 hps and a 400 cmh under a big non cooled reflector. i've got a 6" fan sucking out of the room though. its a 3x4 room, not a tent. and i have a fan blowing up on the lights which helps a great deal. somehting like this, you can point it straight up too:

whereabouts are you? i know here in CO you can find used air cooled hoods either on craigslist or even some grow shops sell used stuff for dirt cheap.

I know my setup is not hid. I am running 432 watts of t5ho in a 2x4. It gets hot. Its winter now. You could crack a window and draw cool air in.

It will be worse for heat in the summer.

You will have a lot more space than me so a good inline fan and filter will work.

Awesome that's great, thanks. I'll get the Ventech and I'm also going to switch to LED lighting just not sure which one I will get yet.

when it's that cold, they don't hermie. their balls go up inside their body just like men. lol.
I've had them hermie out before when i first started growing. I found to turn the thermostat down to 72 and open up the flaps at the bottom of the tent cause the air is always 5 degrees cooler at the floor.

it was a joke. your nuts don't try to hide when it's 20 below? mine don't usually drop until spring and our temps are mild compared to AK.
