Bout to take some updated pictures before I move my divas to a new room. They are so stretched but I I have really lowered the lights and have kept them from growing any more (vertically) and they are starting to round out a bit.

Man, I sat down read your reply, got up to go spin my plants around (I do it every so often to make sure they get even light, sat back all proud just gazing upon my beauties, and boom...two 26 watt cfls (on adapter holding two) falls on one of my healthier ones...it is leaning now...not sure how much damage is done. rather than get something to hold it up I am just going to let it go...I moved the lights to get it to grow up to the left since it is now leaning to the right...broke two of the bulbs, pissed. I was gonna get something to hold it up, but I said "if it were in the woods it would just have to get strong"...we shall see.
Yea, I wouldnt worry. I had a few extra plants I did some "evil" things to just as an experiment. Coiled its whole body around a soda can. It broke in multiple places, but after a week I had a plant growing sideways that looked like a pigs curly tail. Very interesting. They can take alot so just let it grow normally. If you see any breaks along its main stem, just use a small piece of good old duct tape. Works wonders. Just sucks you gotta run to home depot for more bulbs, not such a tragic setback though. Keep up the good work, and I'm still wating for those pics
Uploading most recent pics. Now, keep in mind I was an idiotic moron when I first started...lol. They are very stretched...well, not all of them, but some are...but, I've always had two tower fans blowing around in the room and the stems are strong as hell...(I heard that could also be bad cause it means all the good stuff is going to my stems...but my point is is they will hold up more than they look). I hope out of ten I get a few divas. If they are male, I still may smoke them...LOL. I don't know a soul in my area and I bet after not smoking for damn near 6.5 months a male would make me feel no stress. ..then, a headache, but I'll take what I can get till I get me a gorgeous babe! lol. Attaching a few pics. These were started on the 13th-17th day of October...shelf fell and had to scrape seeds off floor and dump them in buckets...in pots to save them...so, they got mixed up..some are durban poison, some are a mystery strain. They have been through hell. Also, the set up is temp. I plan on using that room but will make it much better...lights on the vanity fixture will stay but, the others are temp. I got 8 things of Coleman's Emergency Blanket since my walls are eggshell and is too big for the amount of lights i have (cfls and 150 watt hps)..pissed cause I am now hearing that the coleman brand of blankets is made of some form of aluminum not mylar....not sure if i should stick with it or not...Yea, I wouldnt worry. They are starting to look good. See that tight internode distance, thats how you get some really good tight nuggety colas man, good work. Yea if the blankets are not mylar dont use them, I would go as far as returning them. But make sure they are not mylar before doing so. Another thing, mirrors are not good for reflecting light. They absorb most of the light and create "hotspots". So once you get your mylar, cover them up. Peace and keep it up man. You're learning quick!

Well that is my plan...any clues as to how you would do it? if so, please share....I can convert the entire room...I am trying to plan it out how to set up section for veg and flower as we speak...just got back from lowes. i have the biggest size dog cage you can get..had it in my attic and forgot about it...got bunch of mylar, lights, etc...lemme know how you would section off that room...id love to hear.

peace storky.i started my grow with a 400watt mh and i already had another 400 watt hps.but i've grown under them before so i got a 1000 watt hps and i run it along with a 400 mh and i got to say i've never seen such vigorous growth from anything i've ever grown before.so now i want to get another 1000watter just cause now i've got the space.i been hard at it for 28 days from seeds now and i started with 24 seedlings.i culled the grow to 8.and one got preflowers on the 8th node,now it's on it' 11th.and that's 8 miles high by mandala.i got one brainstorm on it's 9th node and 6 more from free bagseeds.and they are monsters.i got one thats real dark green 7'' high on it's 8th node and the leaflets are 3''wide x 4'' long and a monster looking plant that smells like cat piss when the lamps first come on after the 6 hour dark time.so any ways i transplanted them 3 best ones into 25 gallon pots from rootbound 10'' ones and the moral to this story is i'd stuff a 1,000,000,000 watt hps system up in there if i could find one.the difference from 400 to 1000 watts is night and day.and i was 18/6 lights on/off though out so far and i'm gonna stay this way for alittle while yet.i'll start a flower room soon as i get it finnished.i got a coat of primer on a 16' x 16' i just built.so i've been real hard at it and i can hardly keep with this amazing weed.oh yeah by the way my 400watt mh is almost twice as hot and noisy[lamp and ballist] as my 1000watt hps/mh value lighting system running hps in it.i'm organic as i can with worm castings and high phosphorous bat guano and mushroom compost and some pelletized lime and the first watering after i transplanted i used general hydroponics micro to kick things off good.i just transplanted on day 27 too.gonna be smokin heavy for sure.i got to cull down to 4 plants though as the laws here are real fucked up.18 years and fines anything 5 plants and over you get manufacturing just like meth manufacturing.very sad but true.so i plan to grow at least 4 lbs when it's done and dried.so good luck with all your grows and who knows if i don't get busted maybe i'll get me a camera and take some pictures so i can show you all what i mean.grow on
A 400 watt hps is most efficient hid lap you can buy. You are better off with 2 400w hps over a 1000w hps. Mh lamps are good for vegging but it is better to use an hps during flower, though you could use an hps thoughout an grow (vegging and flowering).They have been grown under all kinds of lights..

I would take down all of your mirror fixures from the walls (or you could just cover them over along with the walls with mylar). Cover every wall with mylar. You could use the dog cage as a cloning and vegging area within the same flowering room. All you have to do is cover every outer wall of the cage with black plastic (you can buy contractor bags which are 2 to 3 times thicker than normal garbage bags) and use that to make a light barrier. Use duct tape to tape down the sheets of plastic to the outer wall of the cage, then after you have every wall covered use some mylar and cover the black plastic (black plastic absorbs light and heat) so there you have it. If you have any problems with understanding what I mean, just ask. Till then peace.
