Grow No. 4

Ok, ok before I start to get all the hate mail I know that we all have a difference in opinion when it comes to the fan leaves. Well I took all of them off like I always do. At this time I have LST’d all the plant and just finished gave them a dose of water. The plants are on day 28 and come next week on Monday I will be changing the light cycle to 12:12.

Does that benefit the plant? I was wondering about that earlier today.

Not really sure but I do know that I am letting more light into the plant. I know that it focuses the plant on new growth. Plus I figure that I am trying to grow in a way that works for me and if it does and helps other then I'm on the right track.

Damn straight raped those plants.. Lol
you should of trimmed the bottom 12-18 inches depending how big it was. Reason being is the top produces the heaviest compared to anything else. So as long as the side branches are even with the top then don't trim it. Getting light to it is good, but raping it too much can sometimes stress. I wanna see how this goes.

To be very honest with you, yes. If you go back over my other grows I have always taken off the large fan leaves one week before I get ready to go into bloom. Normally I would be growing hydroponics but I wanted to try something simple. After looking at the plants today I'm starting to see signs of pre-flowering, but I'm watching that really close.

Looks like a healthy plant, though kinda lanky like my Sativa, and curious..... What are the black things on the sides?
I'm confused as to the clipping of fan leaves, just remembering how hacking a few slowed my Indica for a couple weeks, but if it works for you.........
I'm going to follow this, as I'm curious, and going to try an indoor grow over the winter, (I'm a lot colder here than you LOL unless you're REALLY north CA.)

As much as I show and give them love, I would only hope they would love me back! But this is why I argue with people when it comes to the questions of cutting or leaving the larger fan leafs.

So a day or two ago I started to see signs of pre-flowering on 3:4 of the plants. Here are the pics as promised. (1) Day 33 - OG Kush (Pre-flower) (2) Day 33 - Alquimista (Pre-flower) (3) Day 33 - Bubba 76 (Pre-flower)

manish they look great man, I was so curious about the trimming you did but the ladies look to be filling out. think you can take some pictures on the entire plant so i can see the entire thing??
