Grown plenty before, this is my first hydro setup of any kind. bongsmilie

SEEDS: Green House Seeds; Big Bang Auto. & Green-o-Matic
both are Feminized for my pleasure ;-)

GROWN: In a Home Made DWC/Bubbleponic/Top Drip 4 Gal. black container/lid.
3'' Net Pots with pea gravel as sub. Drip stakes to control flow of water.

NUTES: General Hydroponics Flora Series; FloraGro, FloraMicro, and FloraBloom. Nutriplus Start for root development. Awesome Stuff

The plants both germed and sprouted at the same time, transplanted into DWC tub April 20th and are currently 17 days old (2 1/2 wks.) from sprout.

The one on the right is the Big Bang Auto. Left, of course, Green-o-Matic. Both Feminized. The air temp is higher that it should be, so i'm freezing bottles and putting those in the the spaces around the tub, and it works, until the ice melts of course.

The water temp. is fine around 75 - 78 at night and 81 MAX during the day. Reason for high temps is that the lights are on 24/7. Two 70 watt CFL daylight bulbs for first 3-4 wks. (Might make this a CFL grow due to heat issues)

So far so good, and my green thumb is doing its magic with Hydro. :hump:
These things are growing CRAZY fast!!! I will update constantly if enough ppl are interested. Comments and Questions are always welcome :)

I have some goodies to share with you :D

Update on the Big Bang Auto. - She is doing great and I have toped her!
Everyone has there own opinion as if to top an auto or not, I decided to go ahead and do it, since theres no definite answer out there. Might answer allot of ppls question on it. We shall see.

NEW TUB!! - I have added a new tub strictly for cloning.
Has one 3" Net pot in one corner for the Mother and 6 smaller pots with bottom cut out with rock wool cubes for the cuttings. Nice little experiment, save room, closet grow. :blsmoke:

Strain - Exodus Cheese :hump:
Same nutes as the autos, General Hydroponics, simple to use n works great.

Slowly but surely it is coming along. Nice to know what u fellow growers think, any comments R welcome. :)

Update #2 (3 1/2 WK's)

The plants are doing great, the Big Bang is a BEAST! the topping I did on her is coming along quite nicely, a nice 2 main cola auto :leaf:
The Green-o-Matic is also doing awesome, she is the same age as the Big Bang, but her genetics as a dwarf auto are clearly visible compared to the other auto next to her. She's my chihuahua of plants :eyesmoke:
I up'd the nutes to about 900, FULL VEG! - 2 1/2 more weeks till Flower! These babies are going to fill in nicely.

The Exodus Cheese is slowly but surely coming along, she is not an auto so shes going at a regular pace. Her roots are starting to come through the net pot.

Here are some pics for your eyeballs bongsmilie

Looks good but I have a couple of concerns. Your air bubbles look big. You need small bubbles and alot of them.
Oxygen means healthier roots which means bigger plants and buds.
Either need a bigger pump or better or more stones.
You mention using frozen water bottles to keep the temps down. If those bottles are sitting next to your roots then it will freeze them and could cause issues.
My suggestion would be to get rid of the Rubbermaid containers and put some coolers in there. Even if its a couple of cheap Coleman coolers.
They will keep the rez temps down. Which will save you tons of headache in the future.
I myself started out with a RM. Since switching to a cooler I have not looked back.
Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work!

Its like you read my mind :) I was talking to myself about those air stones, I'm investing on some wood air stones, they need to be replaced ounce in a while, but produce MICRO bubbles and by the mass's.
And you answered a question of mine, I always wondered if the bottles will eventually cause harm, I will see if I can find some suitable coolers for my babies, that really will save me allot of work.

Thanks for the info. BluBerry :eyesmoke: good stuff.

Yeah bro every thing is looking great. A cooler for a res would be a huge upgrade. Not only will you notice it in the growth of the plants you will also see in bud mass. Keep up the good work broski!!

Appreciate it man, got some new air stones and currently looking for the "right" cooler, one I'm comfortable with. There's nothing wrong with Bud Mass :eyesmoke:
