I think your doing well mate the chunk is a stretchy strain for sure ....don't be afraid to give krippleshock from dr krippling a go in your set up it would be suited it think really bushy plant to start with so I think in your small area it would go well

We're going to need a bigger boat! I couldn't train things the way I would like, and it's a bit out of control. Panic justified...the stretch is, well...you see! I'm going to put in the trellis net and go on a super-cropping/tie down spree tomorrow. Downstairs clean up starting as well as a LITTLE thinning.;)

I'm actually quite upset about the way it's going! It is WAY overgrown. Ideally ALL of my growth would be down below the lattice string, and I wouldn't have needed it. I am having trouble in the hydro, but NOT the troubles that I thought I would have. In order to KEEP a plant bent, you need support on the top, and the bottom. The net pots failed to hold up and torqued, so that I was just shy of having them get pushed down into the res. At that point, I abandoned the lower screen and just opted to use it as the support that the net pots couldn't be, and put in the lattice net. That hasn't really helped. Some is strain related, (stretchy, stretchy, stretchy, that I should have researched) but I am just holding on to my overgrown mess to see what I get. It is SO NOT something I'm proud of. However, the hydro side of things isn't as mysterious as I thought. I have had exactly ONE PH issue (self created) early on, no pythium - and I am a neglectful gardener. You have to change that res at least once per week, though. My complaints are from schlepping water and tie down issues for which I was unprepared. If I was on top of it, the results would be awesome! I think I'm headed back to Hempy World. All in all, it's been a great learning experience in the lab.
Well I suppose that's what it's all about - learning. LOL

I mean, I learn so much with ever grow and had to re-learn some stuff already and I haven't been at it that long.

Looking forward to seeing some budlets going on your girls. It's what gets me through vegging mine...watching others get fat.....lol

It's an Area51 160W (actual watts may vary, but are extremely close...I'm a bad person to ask). That is where the height comes into play. The light's most effective range is WAY below where everything has grown, so I'm EXPECTING things to be light in the weight department. A bunch of fluffy nothing. Please don't judge the light based on what comes from this. I'm riding it out STRICTLY for the hydro experience. This was my last ScrOG (single plant) under just the 160 in the same tent. (I have a couple of Crees in a 'T' socket just to help in the shadow of my air filter).Lafonda_day_45.jpg
