Hehehehehehe, caught me... I played hooky today. I had a good excuse though, the whole famn damily has the stomach flu. Not happy. But I decided to stay home and play RIU instead of Government Affairs Manager.

Oh my goodness! I forgot to mention! The reason why I started this thread where I did is because all of my grow so far has been under CFL's and it doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon.
Here are some shots that show my light set-up. It's all self-designed and moveable I can raise and lower individual lights or I can lift and lower the entire rack.

this is quite a cfl set up? what are the wattage calculations?

Way, way, way to high to still justify doing CFL's... LOL
I have between 650-700 actual watts in there for the equivalent of about 3000. All but a couple are 2700k now and the other two are 6500k small ones, just for a little color. I know I could be rocking a 600w HPS/MH for the same leccy bill, but unless somebody wants to send me a fixture, ballast, and bulbs, it ain't happening any time soon.
But I really can't complaint about my results. I know they would be better with a better light, but I'm smoking what I grow and loving it and that's worth a lot right there. Someday I'll manage to upgrade and get even better results, but for now, I'll get by.

True, true... I do like the micromanagement of the lighting. On the other hand, where I am, I could use the heat of a bigger light. Where most people have a fan running to circulate air in their grow space, I have a heater. I have it set not to let the temps get below 65F and the crazy things runs continually...

What's the blue bag in the lower left corner? Is that the sea kelp? Where is the dried blood meal?

The blue bag in the corner is the Kelp Meal and the Dried Blood meal came from another store and it wasn't till after I sat down to measure stuff out that I realized it was still in the trunk...so it didn't make the picture

Good evening everybody! Time for a current picture update. These pics were taken about an hour ago at lights on. Looks like the modified soil is a hit. Everybody seems perky and healthy.
First up is Strawberry Kiss. I gotta tell ya, after I harvested her Mom, I was so sad when that was gone. It was only 12.4 grams dry and it was some of the tastiest smoke I've ever had. The high was nice, not the grandest or most intense ever, but pleasant. It is the taste and smell of this strain that keeps me hanging on.
Today begins Week 6 for this one. Her buds are looking tasty!
From Alice 2, I took two more clones. Both are doing nicely. They were cut on 12/24 and 12/30 respetively. Today marks the beginning of Week 1 in flower for these nice girls. By the way, I don't use 12/12... I use 11/13.
Also beginning week 6 is my Vanilla Kush. This poor girl...is it just me or is she trying to pose as a sativa? Her flowers are looking frosty as well...
And from the Vanilla Kush, I took two more clones on 12/30. Hopefully these will have a much smoother life than their Mom.
Even they had a touchy start, but they seem to really love their new buffet. Notice all the lighter green growth? All that came up last night!
And that's the grow room this evening.
