Some do post divisive or inflammatory things I don't like and I've ripped a strip off a few. It appears your trying to turn Canadians into the the 'other', I'd worry more about the Russians and their American buddies, in government and not sow division among allies over frank analysis and sporadic editorialising. If you are concerned about "Canadian influence", I suggest you take it up with the site owner, a fellow Canadian. Shit I'd be more concerned about covid than Canadians and other allies on the site speaking uncomfortable and inconvenient truths.

Your internal issues have spilled over into my country and put people into the streets in the midst of a pandemic, aside from Trump being a national security threat of the first order.
mow your own lawn and don't blame me for your dandelions.

Ideas for how to make a greener landscape always appreciated. Repeating the same thing over and over isn't.

Trump is not going to be impeached, btw.

They don't call Nova Scotia the "Mississippi of the North" for nothing. If you wanna look at how Halifax treated our Black community, just Google "Africville".

Things have been a powder keg here for a long time. Although we are the largest and most Liberal city on the east coast, our history with our black and Indigenous people /communities is not good, we have a lot to atone for. The favored saying with the ignorant around here is "I'm not racist, but.. ".
Yep historic racism in Nova Scotia, Sydney too. Saw a black man on local TV in the sixties as a kid, he was the president of the steel workers union way back then and it was largely white. Met my first black people when I was a small kid, he was a friend of my dad an older couple who lived in the country from the caribbean, their kids grown and gone, she made me lemon aid from fresh squeezed lemons. Those are the kinds of people and experences I grew up with. There as ghettoization of blacks in Halifax, Africville, later Preston, in Sydney it was the whitney pier area and problems in New Glasgow etc. There used to be the same problems between Catholics and protestants a hundred years before. In NB there was prejudice against acadiens and I worked in the two solitudes, but crossed over frequently! People are the same all over, we have the baggage of history to drop Burt.

We will see, define it more, just impeached or removed. I'll go with impeached, dunno about removal, but it might be useful to try, Nancy knows best. I don't think he's gonna off an run to Russia anymore, Vlad won't have him, but with Donald ya never know if he loses in nov, may even it happen if he cracks.

I see some interesting things, only 20% support Trumps handling of this, that is bedrock support and I, m surprised it got that low, Also 70+ support masks and other public health measures, the base appears to be fracturing somewhat. Trumps support continues to erode away with seniors and other groups too. The covid death count increases and will no doubt spike over this and the toll will start to come in at the expected times. I was also struck by the response or lack of it from the GOP senators, they looked panicked over Donald's walk in the park.

So I'm hopeful for America, don't slack up for a minute.

If you can read and are not a bot, my post did not "turn Canadians into "Other"", just those strange "Canadians" who showed up all at once saying the same divisive crap that Republicans and Russians do.
