to what i've read on the infos about it, it normally turn purple when you can occur low temps at night and good temp at day,(your plant needs the genetics to turn purple tho) when you can make that good varation but there are many other ways as to stress a little the plant, such as colder watering, making small incisions on lower leaves and other things that can actually occur a little stress, i read that somewhere and cant get to find the info or the site back lol..

and actually in that cabinet i have problems to make good temperature varations during night/day and as to icey water i just ment refrigerated water then i add a little more water from the faucet to heat it up a little, dont wanna shock the girl too much

Yeah I understand how to turn a plant purple, I just didn't know why your trying to make it purple?

Not knocking it man its a great grow, gorgeous looking buds I was just wondering!

My plant went very purple before I chopped!

Cold water carries more oxygen than hot water.....just a thought....but then again, it is a balance like you said @pthang...at a certain lowered temp can be hurtful....

Outstanding grow by the way, nice to see the LED's out in force :peace:
thanks man you certainly know alot of stuff,
im just experiencing out and starting out with crap gear/lights im obviously going for well-renown LED brand for spring 2015 and keeping those ebay LEDs for side lights because from my first grow i've experienced that i can actually harvest some buds with chinese LEDs but the density isn't there

i'm also quite surprised on how she recovered from her injuries back when she was 30-40 days old of flowering
and yet she's still going at it, the lower buds really got a shot and got even more white & long pistils out yesterday, as it is a slow growing strain i might even risk to cut her down in the first week of dec, i'll just check how she goes

thanks for stepping by

alright so i've had quite an issue yesterday at day 67 of flowering, very bad time lol but i kind of asked for it (kept watering with sweeteners even tho i knew it was dropping the ph, i didnt water in between with just plain 7.0 ph'd water to keep the ph in the good range)

so at day 67 morning my ph was at 5.2 with about 600 ppm and some leaves were showing phosphorus defiency due to lock out, when i got home at the end of the day i tried to adjust it back up by flushing with plain water, got it to 5.7 ph and i stopped there, (would've needed to put it back to at least 6.3) and this morning it was worse and getting close to the buds so i just decided to chop it down even if its not mature yet, i wanted way more amber pistils, it had not even 2% of them that showed up yet

im quite happy with this grow, i dont know much about growing and it has been months since my first try but i've seen some improvements and better luck next time for a full healthy grow and happy plants, ive still got that dinachem on the way at day 26, i'm a little bit more familiar with dinafem than green house so i'm pumped up and as for now i'm putting another bubba kush to germinate, this time i won't force her to turn purple that early. it's massive to see how slow this strain grows compared to the sweet deep grapefruits i had

close up on the frost

this strain should be harvested between 55-67 days but it could've gone 1-2 weeks more, oh well this is joyful still :D

will post dinachem picks in few days when she'll start flowering

this is so misconstrued lol.

Liquid is incompressible so it doesn't matter what the temperature, it will be the same stoichiometric ratio.

Water in vapor form is different because gas is compressible. Water follows ideality, so you can see how you can get more "oxygen" at lower temps

Since we use liquid th latter need not apply

If you're talking about dissolved oxygen, there's no need to worry unless you're bubbling O2 in your water before giving to your plants lol

ditch the led.. bubba goes 55-59 days.. yours went almost 70 and still needed more time.. the yield looks tiny to. upgrade lighting

no shit sherlock, as i stated:
1.those ebay chinese LEDs are no density makers,
2.bubba kush from green house is shitty imo but the point is everybody who grew them can tell you its a slow growing strain below of the average growth rate of any other strains + i had some delaying due to the problems i had near 30-40 days of bloom

im currently saving up to either the smallest pannel of area51 or a kessil h380
and i`m still amazed that i could get a 5g cola from these lights

the bud was failed to have a nice dry and cure always went touching her and fucking her around, been months since i did my 1st grow, but it was about 14g wet and 5g dry, even tho i harvested her when she wasnt mature she gave a nice indica buzz, not looking forward to grow anymore of greenhouse again unless im stuck with that only option left, a pre'98 bubba would be optimical but you know... i've got more learning and experiences to acquire before i wanna touch that

got about 12-14g dry overall from that grow

got a dinachem in a partycup coming along the way about 3 weeks left doubt ill get more than 5g, i neglect her in her young days because i was just taking care of that bubba, but that one had more frost when she started blooming that the bubba kush when i harvested her... dinafem ftw im totally sold to them

also currently reading and learning up about making compost and teas for better organic result... the organic stuff i read on the forums here just blows my mind away

u would have done better with cfls
Based on what, the efficiency of the Cfls is about the same as no-name diodes....maybe even less PAR since they generate so much heat....I don't know how this would come across as "u could have done better".....

Even with in-effecient LED bulbs, I have been able to average around .8/.9 gram/watt, almost double what I pulled with 25-30% more CFL wattage.....my experience isn't indicative overall, but I won't ever go back to cfl....
