Hi, this is my 2nd grow and first one in a cab, had to get stealthy, its not quite that yet since ive got problems of light leaking out but its no problems and i still have work to do

so i'm planning to run a relay of 2 flowers straight 12/12 from seeds(exept the 1st BK) for my personal stash

I've got:

1 bubba kush; already in 3rd week of bloom (had 2 weeks of veg)
1 dinachem; trying to pop out

been using :

CIL potting soil (w/Mycorrhizae)
bonemeal
blackstrap molass
2 x 150w UFO's ebay china LED lights
18 x 9 x 35 loudspeaker cab

as my bubba kush gets deeper in bloom i will fix the DIY carbon filter, the lights leaking out and add light traps pretty soon

everythings been doing good so far, despise the fact i learnt those BK from GH grow at a slow rate, we're keeping it up

the first pistils showed up few days ago, this motivated me to post stuff back up here

I'll be making pictures update when theres gonna be some action

damn so i added a new perk to the cab the other day: white flat paint (better late than never) but then i realised im having the same problem as my first run.. and now i know what that is... root rot!

symptoms
These plants will start dropping leaves for no apparent reason, and will begin to wither and die. You will also notice the body of the plant dropping and seeming very lifeless. Additionally, you will notice that your plants are just not thirsty when you water them;

exactly what my lady is occuring

and i was wondering why she never looked happy when i watered her.. less water.. lower quantity because i normally feed or water her twice a week

removed the top of the soil which was hard as a rock (because i didnt mix well the bonemeal with the soil when feeding..)to let the soil breathe.. it worked good when pouring the dilated blackstrap in there or when watering but when it dries it blocks the respiration from the rest of the soil, so all the gray spots we see in the plant pot is the moisture

so with all that stress going on, she turned to be an hermie, never had one of those is it worth it to try and harvest still?
i know my yield is greatly affected by the roots rot problem if i get to harvest her but i dont mind

shes got those ballsacks growing from those long white pistils for quite few days now

aah shit lol well thank you guys!
i was kind of disappointed and thought all the bad luck ran on me...
I've also somehow... forgot how to plant seeds thats why my dinachem isn't up yet (forgot to give some water after planting) so the root was all dried up i thought the seed was lost but i re-planted it and after few days(and watered..) the roots is all white and big and she should pop out soon

i love how nature recovers by itself it's awesome :D

update bloom day 38

she looks crappier than ever, she used to smell good, but the smell seems to be gone.., no changes in the bud structures/trichs & still no thc to see with bare eyes on the leaves close-to the buds

i teared off the lowest and oldest leaves that looked dead but it was hard af to snap them off and it even left a scare, weird imo because my 3 sweet deep grapefruit on my 1st grow, i could've just gently pull down the stems and the leaves would come off easy
looks like some deep wound
i just find that odd

when i last checked her RO PH she was at 6.6 i believe but she was near ~1900 ppm (luckily i bought that TDS Testr awhile back.. just need to use it more often) so in my opinion im having nute burns even tho they dont quite look like it, is it because i'm all organic that the burns arent orange like it use to be when using chemicals nute?

today
PH - 6.6
ppm - 0 (my TDS testr ranges from 200 to 1990).. so im off the chart, shes going to take a gentle flush that wont hurt her, also does someone know the ppm range when flowering? cant find info i think it should be near 800 to 1200?
also found a sweetener, since i heard people were using brown sugars cube i was looking for some at the grocery but my eyes stopped on this syrup its worth 8.99$ a bottle but damn it has 1.25g of sugars per 1ml of that syrup, i'll still continue to use the blackstrap molass as my K source and blackstrap molass has 0.45g of sugars per 1 ml

well thats it any comments/feedback/helpful tips and rants appreciated

"happy update"

left her a whole week or 2 without watering/feeding, had to get rid of dead and overburnt leaves and then last friday (her 48th day of flowering) she's received a gentle sweetened watering, left till sunday evenings with lights closed, and she seems to have liked it

day48 day50

Dinachem is 10 days old, coming along

I'm looking to start my first grow as well, but I need a good sneaky container. I have two speaker boxes laying around that I think would be perfect. How did you construct/modify yours to get into working order?

mine is badly made up right now, ive got lights leaking out but i got good air flow, cheap white flat paint for reflective walls,
i only have a drill and a dremel tho

two cheap 4'' pc fan for airflow,
activated carbon for DIY carbon filter (because of the plugs holes and that it was badly cut and measured my filter is probably only 35% effective or less)
smells good when i come in the bedroom lol

gonna soon just keep the 2 airflow and filter on this one and use it as a hanger for drying up and keep that speaker hidden in a wardrobe
and put some real work in my 2nd similar loudspeaker

Damn gina, its frosty!
she looks to recover well and appreciate sweetened water.. completely stopped on nutes for quite awhile now and now for the 2-3 last weeks shes got left i'll try to make her show me some colours, cant really have good outdoor cold temperatures but im giving her icey water from the fridge and shes starting to get some purple on the edges

Iv gotta ask why your forcing your plant purple with icy water? I can't make any sense of it?
to what i've read on the infos about it, it normally turn purple when you can occur low temps at night and good temp at day,(your plant needs the genetics to turn purple tho) when you can make that good varation but there are many other ways as to stress a little the plant, such as colder watering, making small incisions on lower leaves and other things that can actually occur a little stress, i read that somewhere and cant get to find the info or the site back lol..

and actually in that cabinet i have problems to make good temperature varations during night/day and as to icey water i just ment refrigerated water then i add a little more water from the faucet to heat it up a little, dont wanna shock the girl too much

Cold water carries more oxygen than hot water.....just a thought....but then again, it is a balance like you said @pthang...at a certain lowered temp can be hurtful....

Outstanding grow by the way, nice to see the LED's out in force :peace:
