If I go to the stop sign at the end of my block u can turn left or right and be at a Popeyes within 1 mile either way. I love it. The best biscuits in the world. In fact I'm about to get the kids dressed and hit a Popeyes for lunch then go to the park. It's warm here today, 73 degrees and 78% humidity.

Nice looking grow! This pic made me laugh because I have an old jar that says SBA on it. I had forgotten what it was and was calling it Small Biz Association, but your thread reminded me what it really is. My SBA had a really thick blackberry aroma to it that was quite nice. Hope yours turns out well, keep up the good work!

Got GG 3 tied down finally - was looking really messy / crowded in one corner of the pot so I'm trying to spread it out a little and even up the canopy.
GG 2 appeared to respond well to the LST but it could really use some vertical growth - might have to raise the light:
GG 1 just making bigger fan leaves lol...the 2 new tops are developing rather slowly:
SBA is one of the better looking plants I've seen imo...IDK anything about what traits to look for or w.e, but visually I really enjoy this one:

How do you guys feel about Foxfarm ocean forest soil? It's like $20.00 cheaper per 1.5 cu ft. than the organic mix I've been using / making - thinking about ordering it for the next round. I've only got 1 cu. ft. left of my mix. Might grab their light warrior for seedlings too. Whatdya think?

Don't know anything about these pre-made mixes Ayron, I've always mixed my own. Are you planning to run it fully organic? (no nutes at all other than maybe organic teas). Reason I ask is if you're planning to supplement with some nutes those mixes are not needed and kind of a waste really.

Well I've had pretty good luck so far with this organic mix, and have been supplementing lightly with organic nutes (more as a precaution/safety net than a necessity). The OF soil sounded close to what I'm using now except everything is pre-mixed and it's cheaper. I don't know enough about plant nutrition to really make a good decision but I'll need some more medium soon. Figured I could pick up a couple bags of something when I order the larger tent sometime this month.

Yeah, the thing is, as soon as you add nutes you're removing a lot of the benefits of the soil mix you're paying for. I think they're probably a good way to go for organic and no nutes, but otherwise you're killing the beneficial organics so it's kind of a waste. I went from fully organic to the supplemental feeds but adjusted my mix accordingly. Still provides some nutes from the soil but once you feed them for a while there's not much if anything beneficial left in the soil, imo it just becomes a medium which you have to feed or starve the plants. idk what those pre-mixed soils cost but I just buy a big bale (60lb) of Pro-Mix for like $25, that lasts me several grows, like at least 5-6 grows depending on the number of plants/pot sizes and then buy 8gal bags of local triple mix for around $2.50/bag (that's Canadian, we pay 20-30% more for everything here). Mix them 50/50 (in volume, not weight as the Pro-Mix is very light compared to soil) and good to go with supplemental nutes. Just bought some more of the soil I've been using on clearance for $1.50/bag to get me through the winter. I buy it locally but I've seen the same triple mix brand at Lowes. Nothing special, but very clean, haven't seen a single fly/bug since I switched to this mix. When I was growing fully organic my cabinets would be full of little flies and shit, as much as I like fully organic I'll reserve that for outdoor, can't afford and can't stand having critters indoor.

There's so many choices for medium - the more I look into it the more things I want to try lol. Pro-mix looks promising maybe with a few amendments. I'll probably end up grabbing a random assortment of different shit to try and go from there...I think you're right about the pre-mixes being kind of a waste of money - maybe it'd be worth grabbing the ocean forest but also some kind of cheap 'filler' to mix with it and get a little more bang/buck. From what I've read it is a little hot so it wouldn't hurt to 'dilute' it a bit

If you do go the fox farm way,mix it bag for bag with the light warrior ...add a lil lime,or crushed shells(lots of kinds). Along with a few teas.
I do not think FF is hot,but it has slow released N,so the more you water,the better chance of burning plants,that's when not cut with anything.
You can make better,but in a pinch,the stuff will work well.

Okay cool thanks for the tips man. At this point I'm thinking grab something pre-mixed as a temporary solution and then working on building a stockpile of amendments and mediums to play with for the long term. Why do you mix light warrior 1:1 with OF? Drainage?

Got my 'hot house' for the clones yesterday. Kinda cheap product but it was...uh...cheap...so fuck it. Basically a heat mat with some plastic. Should serve it's purpose just fine. The vent tabs are separate pieces of plastic that snap into the dome piece, but it ripped immediately when I tried to snap it in lol. Good thing there's duct tape. I've really gotta get a 3rd tent set up - having a hard time finding one that's wide and long enough for what I'm trying to do but not too tall for the ceiling... I've only got like 75ish" of vertical space in that room.
Noticing some minor burn on the tips - might be from the last foliar feed. They'll be getting str8 pH'd water (6.5) for the next week:
GG #3 starting to fill out a bit. Half tempted to top this beast again but I'm gonna just let it ride out for a while, let em mature so I can sex them and then we can start talking clones. Not seeing any preflowers yet - might be visible w/ a lupe or something.
GG #2 has a couple twisted / misshapen leaves from being trapped down inside the pot. Most of them are working their way out of the top now and straightening out though:
