GG#4 8 weeks in, how much longer? Should I start flushing now?

1st grow, seeds from DrSeeds, growing in 5gal regular soil with GH flora + calmag using this chart

long 5 month veg with some nutrient issues but it's looking pretty ok now I think, should I start flushing now? Seeing a lot of milky trichomes already I think but I'm not too sure... pics down below:

My microscope is a bit finnicky so I could take more pics if those aren't clear enough

Also those are the leaves. You want to look at the bud. Look at the round thing with the hair coming out.

The pics of the buds have no amber. The leaves have a lot.

Take a pic of the whole plant, nobody can tell you based on pics like that. If the plant isn’t ripe, don’t even bother looking at trics. And looking at that sugar leaf, I doubt flushing is required.

the link I posted is an album, there's a pic of the whole plant at the end, and are these ones buds? it's kind of hard to know exactly what I'm pointing at with the shitty amazon microscope I have

Your close but not there yet. If your definition of flushing is...blasting gallons and gallons through the medium to "flush" nutrients out...dont do that.

Just stop feeding it, give plain ph water if you want to "flush" but in normal amounts.

Plants look like they are fading already and that is a good thing.

Did 1 @ 8 weeks...cloudy
Did another in same grow @ 10 weeks...2 weeks after cloudy.
Myself and friends all think the 10 week was much better...so I say wait as long as you can for the extra to grow. :)
Best of luck and happy growin' :P

OK. Yeah mb I meant just switching to plain water until harvest, is there a different term for that instead of flushing using lots and lots of water?

Looks like you've got a bit still but get closer I can give you a decent estimate looking at the whole bud just closer. The one pic is blurry as I zoom in.

oh wow ok, I read it was 8-9 weeks for this strain so I thought I was closer, thanks!
Follow not guided an breeder packs. That's most likely not gg#4. But most strains aren't ready until 12 to 14 weeks. A good rule i use once all the pistils turn brown and recede wait two more weeks.

Here is my current GG#4...pic is a week old...its just starting week 9 today...there is a few weeks left without a doubt here...lol
I use a DIY scrog net that is held up by the plants themselves...not attached to anywhere, but the plants. :P

Sigh

From your pictures they are not near done yet.

The pistils should be "brown", Calyx's should be swollen and the pistils should be sunken into them by around 50%.

Sadly, the plant shows some unbalanced nutrient use. It should be still green and lush...

I still run the first version from the real breeder.
She likes extra N and is a Mg hog.....
She does not care for extra long vegging.
She can be a pain to clone.

She stinks the hell outta the grow.

Good luck
